"Its ok. Im not taken or anything so its not like i have a coltfriend." She said still looking at the ground. Hop then turned her head and looked at Aarod, then back at the new pony. "Im Little Hop by the way. Im sorry for freaking out, it was just really sudden and i dont even know you." She finished her voice gaining a little more confidence.

"Oh, um, sorry about my introduction then! Um, I'm Chaser Wing," Chaser Wing apologized. To change the subject, he asked,"So, what do you think of this magnificent castle? And this party?"

 

 

Aarod frowned a little bit as soon as she said that. He had plans to ask her soon to, but here some other stallion was, possible taking her from him. He looked at the ground slightly, waiting to see what else she was going to say, wondering what the new pony might say.

Chaser Wing looked up and saw an upset-looking stallion out of the corner of his eye. Is it me or do I get the feeling that I've been lied to? he thought to himself, quickly shifting his gaze over to Little Hop.

Styles had waited to go out to watch the fireworks, He had seen that everyone had paired up and didn't want to intrude. As he left the ballroom he noticed another new arrival, a mare this time. Styles made his way over and introduced himself with a little flair of his fedora. "Hello there, My name is Styles, and What might yours be?"

As she saw the stallion coming her way, Sweet's eyes lit up. "Sweet Love, it's a pleasure," she replied maturely. Even if she was only eighteen, she spoke like she was much older. She had been straining to listen to the light chatter in the room near where she stood, and figured there must be fireworks going off soon. "Were you heading to the fireworks...?"

"Yes the fireworks appear to be starting soon" (or have they already started?) He swept his forehoof forward in a manner that suggested that the two walk together. "So tell me Sweet Love, was it? What makes you come to a party like this?." The two walked out into the night.

"Hello, how are you?" Chaser Wing asked the other stallion flatly, but with a smile. "Little Hop, is he your brother or something?" he asked, taking a wild guess at who this stallion might possibly be. To be honest, I highly doubt this is her brother... he thought with a little fear in his green eyes.

"I think the castle is beautiful. All the detail that was put into it and the setup is just amazing." she said her voice now cheerful and welcoming. She noticed that Chaser had looked behind her. She turned her gaze to see where he was looking and remembered about Aarod when she saw him the quickly turned her head back. "No, no, no, no, no. Were not together I promise you, if that's what you're thinking. Im not lying." she said panic creeping its way back in again.

"Oh ok, Little, just calm down..." Chaser Wing said calmly. He was always the one to remain calm when all chaos is breaking loose. This wasn't going to be his first. He offered his hoof to Aarold. "Hello, my name is Chaser Wing. Who are you?" he asked, trying to be friendly to calm things down a little.

 

"I'm...I'm...I'm just going to go to the beach Hop." He said. Well that was one way to be let down, friendzoned. He ignored the other pony as he walked right past him to the beach. Once on the beach of the lake, he walked down to the waters edge and sat down, completely silent.

Looking on with regret, Chaser Wing felt a though he must've really liked Little Hop. He stayed silent for a little, deep in thought of what to do next. I must've ruined their evening or something. Wonder what I should now, to attempt to repair their friendship. These thoughts whirled around in his mind.

Star was taken by surprise by a peculiar display of passion. Without thinking he gave her entrance  allowing his and her tongue to engage in a small dance. He felt that any second he may lose himself to the moment, no control over which direction he might go in. Then again, he did love her and she returned those feelings. What harm was there. Star engaged more passionately into the kiss, running his hoof through Cascades mane.

Im sorry chaser, he likes me a lot but... im not sure if im ready to have a serious relationship with some pony. I should probably go talk to him." with that she rushed over to where he had gone and found him sitting silently. She came up to him and sat at his side resting her head on his shoulder. "Im sorry, I didn't mean it like that."

I should probably go talk to him." with that she rushed over to where he had gone and found him sitting silently. She came up to him and sat at his side resting her head on his shoulder. "Im sorry, I didn't mean it like that."

"It's ok. I feel the same too," Chaser Wing had wanted to say before she dashed off. He followed, but he followed at a walking pace. He then stopped at the entrance to the castle, overhearing their conversation. He wanted to come to terms of peace with her friend. He wasn't about to fight, verbally or physically.

Cascade was so super-duper-incredibly-happy that Star keeper had actually, finally loosened up and let his feelings speak for once... Partially because it made kissing him SO MUCH BETTER. Their tongues danced, and the way his tongue was moving made her think of two ponies fencing... She had to fight to restrain a giggle at that thought, as she clutched at his shoulders in bliss.

Quip nodded and looked back into her eyes, it seemed like they reached into the depths of space. "Of course, I'm sure its a bit easier to make a firework. Its just a simple 4 step assembly of parts, while pie is like... 10 step assembly of scrap" he said, unsure if his estimation of making pie was correct. He didn't really think baking was his thing, he would probably burn them.

Star effectively gave in. His mind pleading him to let go and he conceded. He felt himself rush with adrenaline, intensifying the kiss till he couldn't hold it. He separated from Cascades lips to look into her eyes, catching his breath while he could. "I think... we should go inside now..."

The look in Cascade's eyes... Oh, oh, just wow... He had just completely blown her away... Why hadn't he kissed her like that from the start? Her mind still numb from the pleasure of the kiss they had just shared, and panting slightly, as she had held her breath for most of the kiss, Cascade nodded slowly, numbly, mutely, thinking she knew exactly what Star wanted to do, and welcoming it with open arms. She had never expected... It was too amazing. She got to her hooves, and, smiling at him, intertwined her tail with his, and made to lead him inside...

Peachy laughed a bit "Actually there's 11 steps, but that was a pretty good guess fer somepony who makes fireworks." "Speaking of which ah didn't know making dem things was so easy ah thought they would be more complicated ta make." Peachy looked on again at the fireworks as they radiated different colors. She wasn't sure if she could learn to use such dangerous items. She imagined what would happen if things wouldn't go accordingly and the thing would blow up right in her face.

Well, that's to make a firework 'shell', to make an actual rocket, you need a firework shell, a fuse, and a rocket husk. I will explain how to actually make them later, those are just the ingredients"

 

Quip looked up to the stars, which were for the most part blocked out by the fireworks. "Heh, to think I'm getting paid AND I get to spend an amazing time in an even more amazing night with an even more amazing mare! Can't get much better than this..."

Cascade was swimming through her own sea of happiness, with Star Keeper. She smirked, but restrained herself from asking what he had expected instead. That was a question for later. "I know, right? I mean, no. You're amazing." She blushed, but couldn't help grinning at her own blunder. It wasn't that bad of one, anyway.

 

She lead him into the castle, and up the grand staircase. All the way up, to the floor above. There was none of the fine emgravings here, none of the magnificant sculptures. There were plain walls, and huge piles of sand here and there. She lead him into a room near the top of the staircase. It was a circular room, with a single feature; a bed. And not one made of sand. A legitimate, king-sized bed. She winked at him.

Peachy chuckled most of that stuff she never really heard of. "Wow that's alot of stuff ya need to mak'em." "Even mah Pies don't have that many ingredients just cinnamon , sugar, flour, an egg and most importantly peaches." She explained before looking up into the sky with Quip."Awww thanks ,but ah don't think ah'm that amazin." She said blushing.

Oh look a bed and what a nice bed it was. But why did she take him all this way to show him a be-   oh no. After her playful little wink it all began to sink in. Star felt every organ in his body churn all at once, his head beginning to give mixed messages. He honestly didn't know what move to make next; the options being go along with it or run home.

 

He gambled it all, returning the affectionate smile. He leaned it and engaged her in another passionate kiss, instantly begging to dart his tongue into her mouth. He pulled back a second, letting his adrenaline have the last word. "Whenever you're ready." He wasn't and he knew it, but he was in no position to refuse.
