Tartaros proceeded to simply knee Ctulhu in the abdomen to be able to face both him and Maven. His spiked knee thrust had allowed Tartaros to deal some damage and recoil movement, pushing Ctulhu away and giving Tartaros more ease to swing to another nearby rooftop. He spoke to Maven, producing an amorphous symbiote he head from his shoulders to keep an eye on Ctulhu.

"Another demon judging by your stench," he snarled. "What's your story, same as the last guy's? Come to reel me as another hunting prize for who knows what reason?!"

Tartaros stared Maven down, baring his razor sharp fangs.

The President nodded "hmmm, do you think it would be possible to blow up a section of the building? to gain entrance? my thinking is a large enough explosion should disrupt what ever is causing the ruines"

 

Cthulhu ,looked over at tartarous and hissed, when tartarous attacked Cthulhu, he simply vanished, his image was an illusion  Cthulhu appeared behind taratrous and stabbed him in the back his a blade like extension of his arm, he laughed #We certainly benefit from our hosts abilities, however, your strength will be a nice addition to our powers#

Tartaros's symbiote alerted him of the danger, and moved out of the way. However, the blade still managed to slice part of the side of his stomach, which the symbiote began to repair immediately.

"Interesting, bring it on!

Tartaros sent all six of his tendrils in Ctulhu's direction, and attempted to stab him on the front and sides. A sharp tendril erupted from his chest to drag him closer to his jaws.

Maven crossed his arms and watched the fighting continue. It was the perfect opportunity to study both creatures and gather the final pieces of information he needed. The second creature was notably inferior, perhaps no higher than a lower D class.

Cthulhu dodged  the first six, then grabbed the tendrill that came out of his stomacth, the tendril appeared to catch on fire, and it felt like it too, he then leaped at him and stabbed him with the flaming tendrill he then started hacking away at him with a machete shaped arm

Tartaros felt the pain of Ctulhu's machete arm stab and screeched. He let out a distorted laugh afterwards, claiming that his enemy might not be as weak as he had thought.

"But you still won't fare to well boy," Tartaros hissed as he braced himself for another stab. As the other sets of stabs came, his giratendrils quickly parried them, after which Tartaros quickly flipped over Ctulhu's head and sent a baraka style blade at his back. His six tendrils then made several cutting motions, before Tartaros finished up his attack with a virulent kneww spike to the back

"#Don't think you can escape the weakening agents so quickly kin, we have fought many like you before."

Cthulhu shrieked in pain, he fell down, 4 spider like legs formed out of his back and he crawled away,  after he was a good distance away he stood back up #youll have to try harder than that if your going to take me down!# he opened his mouth wide and 4 thick tenticles shot out of his mouth and gripped tartarous's head with great force, he then started pulling in

"#You fight like a mewling child," the symbiote hissed as Tartaros' body turned amorphous to escape Ctulhu's jaws. He reformed behind him and bashed him to the edge of a building with his toxic, spiked shoulders.

"Can you feel the burn of the poisons begin to course through your system?"

"#Can you even see us as one?," hissed the symbiote as Tartaros gripped Ctulhu's neck with his claws, letting the sharp fingers extend deeper into his enemy.

Cthulhu shrieked in pain, he then appeared to burst into flames, the heat was intense spider like legs ejected out of his back and pushed tartarous off, and slicing at him the legs were also on fire, he was getting weaker from the battle damage, it was the most intense fight the symbiote had been in before, all of its previous fights were with helpless test victums

Tartaros was knocked off balance by Ctulhu's swipes and then disoriented by his illusions of fire. 

"Cut that out!", Tartaros snarled as he backed away. He extended his claws and fire small projectiles of more weakening agents. Tartaros had to admit, he was getting rather worn down, because Ctulhu was stronger than he looked. Tartaros's wound from the machete stab was still open and bleeding, making him consider dishing out more reckless attacks to try and be done with it quicker.
