The rocketeer continued to watch the strange events unfold, equally horrified and confused, he didnt know weather to intervene or sit back and watch, he decided to act, he checked his silenced SMG and entered where the strange gaurd and the monster were "hold it both of you" aiming his SMG "i know your not rebels and i know your not goverment, who are you two?"@,

*Sasha had been having trouble sleeping. Something hadn't seemed right about that day. It was off, and when she heard the explosion in the city, she knew she should check it out. Sasha stepped into her closet and opened up a small trunk on the ground, removing its contents. Her vigilante outfit. First, she put on the dark colored pants and boots. then, she slipped the sleeveless hoodie on over her head. Black gloves went on next, followed by the long and intricately patterned jacket, and to finish it off, she pinned her silver dragon pendant at her neck, securing the jacket. Now she felt more comfortable. More secure. As Weiss, she always felt stronger. Even though she was always pretty strong.*

"Lets go investigate now, shall we?"

*She said to herself quietly. Weiss walked over to a window in her apartment and opened it up. She got up on base of the open window, and stepped out, finding traction on the open air. Weiss turned around and closed the window behind her. Guards were always suspicious when they saw open windows so she always made sure to close hers. Once the window was closed and secured, Weiss began to rise higher into the air until she was high above the rooftops. She looked around and saw a lot of lights of in one particular area of the city.*

"Guess thats where the explosion was."

*Weiss muttered. She turned her body in that direction and began to fly there fairly quickly. Once she arrived, she took an overview of what was going on. On the scene, Weiss spotted someone, it was her mentor, The Rocketeer. Weiss raised her hood and began to float down towards the armored man.*

"Hey boss."

*She said oddly casually once she had landed next to him.*

"Need some assistance?"

Eos slipped out of the body of the guard and her own materialized as she slipped into that. "Much better," she said, preening, as she stepped over the remains of the guard and close to Tartaros with a little smile.

"What are you doing here is the better question. I'm supposing you're one of those crazy little rebels, running around thinking that you can change things." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and gave him her prettiest look, the one that sent boys-and girls-to their knees for her. She guessed that his willpower was stronger, but it was worth a try.

Sensing he was going to try to leave, she held up her hands in surrender pose. "Not trying to cause trouble, darling. You're a non-human and therefore fine in my books, unless you screw with my toys again. And a word of advice-nothing changes in the city of stone. You're gonna need a lot more if you want to stop these people."

A few more guards stepped in and Eos' form collapsed as she sped through them, making them bleed from every hole in their body as she returned to her own distastefully. "All right, I lied, this is gonna be easy for you guys."

 

She turned to the Rocketeer and Weiss and laughed. "Now put YOUR toys away, sweetheart, before you get hurt. This isn't your business; I suggest you leave before I decide that I don't like you, human."

Diego huffed; he thought he was being ignored, and this didn't sit well with him, at all. He spoke a little louder. "You, there, whoever you are; you're not human, or not totally. I'm not, either. I want to talk to you right now, see what's going on in this neck of the woods."

The Rocketeer looked over and saw weiss land beside him "hi there, assistance would be nice, i just saw this monster kill a gaurd, and what ever that is shaped shifted" upon hearing the shape shifter talk "im no ordinary human, electricity crackled over his body "now who are you?"@,@,@,

Diego huffed; he thought he was being ignored, and this didn't sit well with him, at all. He spoke a little louder. "You, there, whoever you are; you're not human, or not totally. I'm not, either. I want to talk to you right now, see what's going on in this neck of the woods."

Hirue didnt hear what Lenny said. He turned around sharply and looked at Diego. He smelled human. Hirue assumed he was lying and decided to play it off. "That's a funny thing to say." he said. "Not human? I was the last time I checked. Are you trying to act cute?"

*Weiss looked over at Eos, a dissapointed frown the only seeable part of her face.*

"Really? Threats? Thats not very nice."

*Sasha slowly began to walk towards Eos, tendrils of darkness rising from the ground around her, and moving with her.*

"Ill have you know that Im no normal human. Im pretty strong myself, and I dont get hurt easily."

*Weiss stopped, right in front of Eos, looking into er eyes, a black glow coming from her own.*

Tartaros turned his attention towards Rocketeer and the newly arrived Weiss and growled.

"If anything I'm not here to kill your kind," he told the two allies. Turning his attention back towards Eos, he took a step back from his prey when he realized how close she had gotten to him.

"I do detest pleading, innocent looks, so please, try something else if you're trying to get a sucker punch in," he told Eos. "What exactly are you doing anyways if you're not for the so called rebels?"

Eos instantly adapted his tone perfectly, mimicking him. "Now who are you?" she said in his voice, adding a mocking spin to it. "Look at you, all your pretty light shows and tentacles. Excellent, I must say, I'm simply terrified. Shaking in my wee little boots." She walked towards him slowly, stepping around Weiss, not even seeming to care about the gun or the odd black things coming out of her.

"The Rocketeer and his cute little friend. Weiss, correct? How sweet, really." She smiled adorably, and her face changed instantly. She collapsed again and fell into the body of a dead man, rebooting his systems temporarily as she walked around. "I don't see why you're pointing a gun at me, seeing as you're rebels and shouldn't ought to care about guards."

 

She looked back at Horus. "So I'm the bad guy here? I just destroyed an enemy base and yet I'm getting the guff for it? You're all idiots, I thought you knew better." She sighed and shook her head. "And I don't see a reason to give information to those threatening me. Let's play nice and maybe I can give you information on the-oh, wait, sorry. That's confidential. Whoops. Sorry, I forgot, I'm evil. I shouldn't help the good guys."

Haul pulled out his phone and quickly dialed the number scribbled on his desk. It didn't take long for the call to be answered. “You’re on the secure line, speak now.”

 

“Sir, you know the potential suspects we discussed?”

 

“Copy, yes I remember.”

 

“Well I did some more research on them. I rooted out a few criminals and random street rats. They seem to react well to interrogation at gun point. It seems that one name keeps reappearing. You probably won’t believe me when you hear it.”

 

“Spit it out Haul.”

 

“Eos.”

 

Neither of the pair spoke till Haul broke the silence. “Orders?”

 

“Find and kill it. Do whatever means necessary. Consider your pay doubled if you can do so.”

 

“It?”

 

The line went dead.

Hirue didnt hear what Lenny said. He turned around sharply and looked at Diego. He smelled human. Hirue assumed he was lying and decided to play it off. "That's a funny thing to say." he said. "Not human? I was the last time I checked. Are you trying to act cute?"

Diego laughed. "Don't play with me, mate," he said. "I hexed you, and it showed you up as being not quite normal. You're no more normal than I am, which is why I want to talk to you. Can send a guy crazy to be alone so long, so why shouldn't I try and get some company? Just why would someone lie about whether they're special or not? And who'd even want to be normal, anyway?"

"I could care less about future prey," Tartaros said as he sent two of his Giratendrils towards an oncoming guard and swallowed him whole within a secondary fanged mouth that had opened on his body. "It's more of the fact that it was timed right with when there were still the oppressed within this establishment. And... the fact that you simply did it to kill rather than actually better anyone's cause," he snarled as he circled around her.

Lenny watched as the person he was talking to turned to someone else. Realizing that the scene was getting a bit too crowded with some seriously shady people, he started to silently walk off in another direction by himself, hoping he wouldn't be detected by anyone else as he slipped away.

Rocketeer sighed not knowing if he should trust the shape shifter "while i am all for taking out these gaurds, youll excuse me if im a little weary of a monster and a shape shifter, and...what kind of information do you have?" he lowers the gun a little but keeps it pointed at her, he was then taken aback when the monster straight up ate some one

Lenny watched as the person he was talking to turned to someone else. Realizing that the scene was getting a bit too crowded with some seriously shady people, he started to silently walk off in another direction by himself, hoping he wouldn't be detected by anyone else as he slipped away.

 

One of them was separating from the group, now was a time to act. Haul darted behind a corner, drawing out his handgun and grasping it in his left hand. He waited for the guy to draw closer before he revealed himself. He firmly aimed his gun with two hands, a direct line to the targets head.

 

"Stay still or I'll shoot. I have some questions I need to ask you."

"You talk way too much." Hirue said with a disappointed sigh. He stood still for a moment and there was a disgusting fleshy sound coming from inside his body. The skin on his body ripped and fell off in shreds. Underneath, his skin was a leathery, green skin like that of a toad. His shape changed, replacing each leg with four tentacles. His torso turned upright and an enormous mouth opened on his chest. Two claws sprouted from his shoulder sockets with a small mouth in each palm. His mouth was replaced by a small green trunk with a suction like opening at the end. "Ha ha! Feast your eyes upon me! A true Demon in flesh and bone!" He said happily. His voice was shrill and gurgled. "I am Hirue. The Inlet of Leaches."

"I don't think I should give anyone information, considering I am still being threatened. I would have been perfectly happy had you not basically labelled me a murderer with no idea how I planned this," said Eos smoothly. "Who I am is none of your concern, and I have no reason to trust you with any of the things I know. Being able to control others lets you in on things that even high-ranking officials don't know." She smiled. "For example, I know right now that-WAIT! Evil! Oh, my, really, I hope you don't blame me for what's about to happen. Could have been useful, you know."

Lenny stopped for a second due to what Haul yelled, but then noticed Hirue. "Alright, dis is just getting weird now." He muttered as he switched his 1911 styled pistol to a different setting. He fired as the ground creating a smoke bomb all around him to conceal his body and avoid gunfire. He then started running away from the two others.

The Rocketeer lowered his weapon, "if you have any information that would help me take down this evil establishment i would greatly apreciate if you were to told me" he still didnt know weather to trust her, but if she had any useful information, then he would have to comprimise

"That bitch, I nearly had him. And what was that thing behind him. I don't even want to think about it."

*Weiss looked over at Eos. She seemed frustrated. The tendrils of darkness sank back into the ground. Weiss sighed.*

"Whats the point in interrogating her anyway? She isnt going to say anything."

*Weiss walked past Rocketeer. Stopping beside him.*

"Come on, there isnt much point in hanging around here anymore. I dont want my time wasted by a girl who just plays games with people."

"There is no good and evil," said Eos, dropping the corpse and going back to her own self. "There is only order and chaos, and there must be a balance in the world. The liberators are no better than those who oppress-they are merely of different opinion." She cocked her head. "I must represent and maintain that balance, which the liberators will disrupt. I do not and cannot take sides in this battle-however, I can tell you this. There is a dark time coming, something unlike what this city-this country-has known. Drop your arms now, and allow nature to take its course."

Lenny kept running, he felt a shot fly by his body as he ran. "That was close..." He thought as he rounded a corner and stopped to take a breath. He regained he composure and began walking off back to his apartment. Taking the mental note of not checking out exploding buildings as a hobby anymore.

Hirue used his tentacles to scoot himself across the ground. "I can smell you!" He gurgled before noticing Haul. "You there!" He yelled. "Stand still."

 

He lunged off of his tentacles like a spring and flew out at haul, attempting to grab his face with his opened right hand.
