Lila thought the next question was strange but it did make her happy to know that he wanted to know about the kingdom. "Niether. Its actually on a floating island of rock, connect to the main land by a steel bridge. I dont even know how it floats but it does. Its very large too. If i wanted too i could add on more sections to the kingdom with ease and still have room to spare." She in a matter of fact tone. Lila found herself only a foot away from Rain and staring into his eyes.

"That's amazing...It must be made out of...Some sort of......p-pumice." He said, Looking into her beautiful (Insert eye color here) eyes.

"Um..." He gulped. "What's...Um...What's the population of your city ?" He asked.

After realizing what he had said, He facehoofed. *Wow...Just wow. That is the best I could come up with.* He thought, Blushing.

Dusk quickly turned back around and looked at Star Rain, "Aren't you coming?" He asked while beckoning her to follow him over to Evergreen. "Wait, you where fighting?" he stopped and looked her up and down with profound shock and confusion "you don't...look like a fighter" he said as he examined her wonderful dress. "Do go on..." his ears perked right up as he seemed to realise there was more to this mare than initially meets the eye - as if that wasn't already pleasing enough.

"Um..." He gulped. "What's...Um...What's the population of your city ?" He asked.

Lila looked at Rain confused. "Why i dont see how that concerns you, really. Unless youre trying to get at something else that im not getting." She said as she looked at his brown coat. It was a beautiful type of brown, unlike the ugly color of the homes in FallenMoon.

Somber continued to strum on his guitar, looking around at all the flowers, as the plants surrounding were eating up his playing. He smiled at that, something he rarely does, considering that he was always depressive... It was nice to have a small ray of happiness sometimes...

"Its nice to meet you, I guess you already know who I am" she said shyly. "Oh no, what do I do now? " she looked around and saw Ever, she gave her a frightened look hoping the kind pony would help her with this.. "Umm maybe could you give me a moment? I need some punch" She looked like she was about to cry she was so scared.

 

"I'm terribly sorry, I'm not used to ponies coming up to me quite often." She looked up and thought to herself "okay silver you can do this, nothing to it right? You did this at Flight Camp you can do it again." She smiled and looked at leaf. "Okay, let's go I'm ready when you are"

" Yeah, I'm coming!" Star Rain quickly called back. " Um, excuse me a moment, Goldseek," she said politely before trotting over to Dusk. "Yeah, we were fighting," she responded. She laughed when he commented on how she didn't look like much of a fighter. " I wasn't a physical attacker, though I did have a sword with me. I relied on my magic for the most part," she said with a hint of pride. " Oh yeah! We have to see the hostess!" Star Rain suddenly said, remembering what Dusk intended to do.

Shell was busy roaming around what seemed to be a crazed dimension, everything was so odd and out of place, the one thing that stood out was a giant... doll? But not what you expect from a regular play doll. This doll was burnt, eyes torn out, a few limbs ripped out of their sockets... it was rather terrifying, but it soon ended as Shell woke up from his unconsciousness.

 

Shell tried to stand up, but he still didn't have enough energy. Its not that he was hurt, its that he hadn't taken any time for the past week to regain energy. Chytinos use an advanced version of energy, they have a huge storage of it, but you can't regenerate it unless you go into an unconscious dream state, which he was in just now. But since these ponies had tried to help him and wake him up, he didn't get very much.

 

He finally stood up and looked around, he had no idea how long he had been asleep, but it seemed like everypony had somepony else to talk to at the moment, and Shell was left to wander around the garden to appreciate its beauty. He had thought about leaving... but nopony seemed to hate him, but he didn't know if they liked him either.

 

He stood there for a few seconds, unsure what to do, but if he was going to try and fit in, he needed somepony to talk to. He noticed a lonely colt sitting near the flowers, just playing his guitar.

Somber didn't even notice the new... thing... appearing, and once that...thing... spoke, he emitted a bit of a unmanly squeal, jumping back a few feet. The flowers had returned to the original state, as Somber looked back to this thing... He seemed shy, like him...

 

"Oh, uh... Hello....", he replied, getting back to his seat and sitting back down.

" Yeah. Self- taught. Even used art magic to make fake gems that acted as bait," Star Rain said, continuing on. She didn't notice him turn red, but she was also turning a little red. "What did you do before you came to this garden?" she asked inquisitively, still having those pauses here and there.

@, Shell was a bit taken aback at the ponies reaction, he almost wondered if it was a bad idea. 

"Er... if you want me to leave i can. I mean, you looked lonely, so i kinda thought..." he looked down, but you wouldn't be able to tell since his eyes are pure dark red. He sighed and stood up, "Its okay, i know i'm a monster..."

He was now glowing red, ears plastered to his head as he looked away - "I'm...sorry... that just...I meant..." He sighed heavily, then mumbled to himself - "Way to go Dusk...brilliant move there, she'll probably bolt now...can't blame her if she does"

Shell slightly smiled and sat down next to the pony. "So what do they call you? They call me Shell, but my true name is Palos... at least, back home it is." He felt a little bit comfortable around this pony, he seemed just as rejected as he was. "Ponies only see me as a monster because i have a chitin shell that's a foot thick. My actual insides are half the size of my exterior."

"Oh, sorry. But yeah the pond does sound nice." She said as she got up and led them to it. She jumped in and imediatly felt the fish swim along side her. The water felt felt great too and she could feel the fish nibbling on her coat. She surfaced the water waiting for Rain to join her.

Rain smiled when they arrived at the pond. He jumped in a couple seconds after Lila. "T-This is amazing...The water is so clear." He said, looking down at the fish who were nibbling at his hooves. He chuckled and looked over at Lila. She was a very pretty mare and Rain found himself gazing at her a little longer than he normally would have.

Rain smiled when they arrived at the pond. He jumped in a couple seconds after Lila. "T-This is amazing...The water is so clear." He said, looking down at the fish who were nibbling at his hooves. He chuckled and looked over at Lila. She was a very pretty mare and Rain found himself gazing at her a little longer than he normally would have.

Lila smiled when rain got in. She saw him gazing at her and blushed a little swimming over to him. "So... Ummm." She had a hard time thinking of what to say to him. She suddenly had the urge to kiss him for some reason. Something that hasnt happened to her before.

Star Rain reacted with a look of annoyance and surprise on her face, but she said, in a flat tone that was forced,"That's nice, th-thanks..." She looked away, but was pretty excited, as the best compliment she had ever received about her appearance until now was," Oh hey! That's a lovely mane! Where did you go? The Dorky Bangs barbers shop?!" with laughter at the end. " You aren't joking, right?" she asked to make sure Dusk wasn't picking on her.

It's okay if you don't!" he called to Silver.

The look of annoyance on Star Rain's face disappeared. Instead, she said," Sure, it just slipped out. But it's actually the nicest thing I've ever been told about my appearance." She remained calm and collected as she continued. "If you called me something like " dorky bangs"' then I would've been angry," she said. " You aren't the first one to have something slip out, and you defiantly won't be the last," Star Rain said.

Rain smiled and looked into her eyes. "So...umm." He gulped. "Um...Lila...I kinda...Well I." He blushed and looked over at a fish which was basking near the shallow end of the pond. He looked back into her eyes and stayed silent for a moment...Then, He leaned in close and kissed her.

Lila watched as Rain leaned closer. Then she felt his lips on hers. She pulled him closer and tried not to giggle while she felt the fish swim around them. Her horn began to glow a bright blue flame. Its wormth radiated to both of them. She broke the kiss with a grin on her face and the flame went out. Her parents would disaprove of her but they didnt matter at the moment.

The redness in Dusks face began to fade, and he started slowly walking again. He looked around, and realised there where several flowers all with their heads pointed in his direction - he felt as though he was being watched, and that made him a little edgy. 

 

"Why would I ha- " Dusk stopped as he found himself eventually approaching Evergreen. 

He then turned his attention to her rather quickly - "Um, hello?" He spoke the words quietly, almost to himself.
