Vectorised OC

So, after many changes to the design and trying ever so hard to stick to my own personal "rules" about OC's this is the first proper version of Swift Strike.

I had two issues with him, first of all the colour and hair design was originally far too similar to Shining Armour which was something I really wanted to avoid. I really like the white/blue colour scheme as it appeals to me greatly.
 
The second was getting his fighting stance right. Originally he was on all fours like 90% of OC images but I wanted something a bit more original, so I made him actually take on a kickboxing stance. The problem is ponies don't often wear boxing gloves or take up a boxing stance so it took a bit of fiddling to get it to look right.
 
So yeah, there you go, all critiques welcome. I know his mark is pretty awful but I can't think of anything else.

lulz. It looks like a ponified Ryu (or Ken). Except Ryu has a red handband as well. Speaking of Ryu (or Ken), I wonder how they would react to this:

I actually took a break halfway through just to play street fighter! Obviously as Dudley...

 

They'd react fine to seeing him, just not very well when he beats them

Okay, this is not only a very unique and original concept, but also is flawlessly designed.

I really like his mane the leg padding and his gloves.

Thank you very much! Although they look quite simple it took a bit of fiddling to get the pads to work on the body shape, especially the gloves as I wanted to use open hand ones but I wasn't sure how to get them to work on a hoof.

Nice to see someone experiment wtih anatomy a little.

Very cool design and choice of colours.

-he could use a bit of slimming down

-the hindlegs should be a bit closer together (his left one a bit to our left)

-cutiemark needs to be slightly bigger and adjusted for perspective

-both fronlegs should be moved down a bit to give the poor guy ssome neck.

-pupil and iris need minor adjustmend for perspective

Nice! It's very hard to vector from scratch, but you've got it down! I especially like how the boxing gloves and the shin guards came out. Very creative!

Just made the changes that you suggested, feedback is always welcome and it's always good to receive it. Definitely agree with them all, I spent too much time on making him have the right stance that I forgot he's a pony.
