[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

The sun was high in the sky and the bird's were chirping.

Diamond trotted down the road to the university. This was her second year teaching and she couldn't wait to meet all her students. She requested a room in the student dormitory so she could get a better connection and show them that she wasn't some mean old angry teacher who doesn't feel like doing anything fun.

 

She walked into the mane office and got everything she needed before walking off to her room.

She unlocked the door to her room and pushed it open.

Inside there were two beds, Which were both empty. Diamond grinned and dropped her stuff on one of the beds. "If I have a roommate...They are going to be so weirded out." She thought.

 

 

 

(OOC: Make your first post about ether, Coming back to school, Or just arriving for the first time. And the first day will just be about unpacking and stuff.)

The view was set on a small little grotto near the campus, showing a few ponies walking through. At first, everything seemed normal. But, the shadow of a bench inside the grotto was a lot darker...

 

The shadow quickly dispersed into a small blob, as a mare rose right out of the shadow, black and yellow decorating her mane, tail, and necklace.

 

"Well... Considering I've no luggage... I can head up to a room."

 

Lite Shade went up to a room, receiving a paper with the room number and the roommate's name. Someone named Light Diamond.. She walked into the room.

 

"Excuse me... Is there a Light Diamond here?"

 

((OOC: Sorry Flame, but I want to see how weirded somepony could get.))

The medium blue colt looked off to the distance. It was Typhoon's third year here, and yet he barely learned anything new since highschool graduation. Maybe this year would be different. He heard word of a rise in student numbers this year, so he'd likely have a chance to make new friends. Walking through campus, he took note of the number of ponies. He was slightly late. Figures, he wasn't exactly the best in being on time.

Scamps walked into the campus and gasped. "Wow....it's so beatiful...." She then walked up to her dorm (which was many flights of stairs later) and unpacked. She couldn't wait to find out who her roommate was. She checked her schedule....DFirat period Anthropolgy, Second Eriod Calculus, Third Period Architecture, 4th magic, 5th lunch, 6th physics. Something like that, at least.

 

Scamps, still filed with excitement, dashed down to the main campus building to meet other students.

Diamond turned to the new pony and smiled. "That's me sweetie pie." She smiled and trotted over to the pony, Then held out her hoof. "And you are ?"

Lite Shade looked over to Light Diamond, who seemed very delighted to meet her. She returned her hoofshake.

 

"My name is Lite Shade. It's extraordinarily delightful to meet you. This parchments reads that I am to be your roommate here in... "Prancer's Dorm?"

Lila quickly made her way to the school. She so excited! Getting to venture out of FallenMoon and attend a University! She was still having a hard time believing it. Not only that but the fact she was taking two majors and a minor to fill up her days with studies on magic and fine arts! Entering the door she hardly found anypony there. *Oops, must be early.* she thought excitedly. She made her way to the dorms with much vigor hopping she got one all to herself. When she opened the door with her number on it she looked around slightly disappointed at the lack of decor. She pushed the thought aside and took the left bed hopping that if she did end up getting a roommate that it would be someone tolerable.

(Whoa, if Diamond is going use a students dorm, so is Quip! Makes it easier, and much more fun. Besides, he acts like he is still young)

 

Quip breathed heavily as he lugged the giant bag he was carrying to the school. It was his first year of teaching chemistry, and he was going to make the class go off with a bang! Once he reached the main office, only to get a strange look from the pony behind the desk. "And you are?" she asked. "The CHEMISTRY TEACHER? What do I look like to you, a hobo? Just show me where the classroom and my dorm is and I will take care of the rest." The mare was unamused, and looked at the bag he was carrying. "What's in the bag?" she inquired. "Chemistry supplies, what else?" he quipped (Heh... what? Its a real word, look it up!). "But we already have chemistry supplies" she said with a worried look on her face. "I'm sure you do, but you don't have 'these' chemistry supplies. Just let the professional handle it." The mare sighed and showed him the classroom and his dorm without complaint, she just wanted to get rid of this pony so she could get back to work.

 

Quip had left his supplies at the classroom and he had just arrived at his dorm. "Ah, just like when I was just a colt..." he said before hopping onto the bed and relishing in the warmth and comfort of his new bed. "I hope I don't get a total egghead for a roommate"

Heading to his room, Typhoon gave slightly cynical looks to the ponies around him. They looked at him as if something was wrong with him.when he got to his room, he noticed he was the only one there. Weird, I'm usually the last pony to arrive at anything. He didn't feel like unpacking, so he simply lay his luggage on the floor beside his bed and lied down on it. He stared at the ceiling, deep in thought.

Cascade trotted down the brick path, eyes wide, sweeping over the University that was Pranceton. The small university she attended last year absolutely paled in comparison. She counted herself incredibly lucky to have transferred here from the University of Baltimare - Baltimare was barely a blip on the map compared to Pranceton. Even the quality of buildings here were miles higher than in Baltimare; she wandered among the dozens of grand buildings. Eventually, she found the one she was looking for - Prancer Hall - and opened the door with the special key she had been issued for her dorm and her dorm alone. The immediate sight she saw, at one end of the long dorm building, was a large common room. She made her way down the hallway to the left - which she knew to be the ladies' hall - and walked down to her room to see it already open. Already inside Room 13 was a brilliant purple unicorn, who was looking around glumly. Unlike the mare, apparently, Cascade thought the room was quaint, and wonderful compared to where she had stayed last year. 

 

She entered the room, saddlepack uncomfortable over her wings - but she'd rather not have them seen yet - and smiled kindly at the mare as she sat down her other bags, and wondered who she must be.

shade walked onto the campus, she flicks her mane and walks into the dorms...

 

it was her first year, she didnt know how she would fit in, she knew that she woudnt fit in, since she was a changeling. she was lucky enough to get in the school, she thought that they saw the perks in having a changeling apart of the school. but she had a feeling that she would have a close eye on her.

 

she looks at her room number and looks at the door.

*well, here we go* she thought to herself as she pushed the door open.

"Im happy to meet you Lite. And yes, You are in the right place." She grinned and trotted over to her bed. "So what classes are you taking Lite ?" She asked, Pulling out several mask's and placing them on the small dresser next to her bed. *Please say Drama.* She thought, Pulling out a few costumes and putting them in the closet.

Star Keeper was not new the college atmosphere, but it wasn’t one that you got used to. While his plans of simply going to his classes and studying seemed solid, little did he know of what would lie ahead for him. At present time he was calm, cheery even. His steps were light, even with the heavy saddle bag banging against his side. First thing was first though; find out where your room is. It was best at this stage to make peace with your room mate to avoid any potential confrontation.

 

Well, best place to find out is by asking. Where better to ask than the desk administration. Star trotted past the elegant décor on display in the office, making his way to the front desk. “Excuse me.” Star grabbed the attention of an elderly grey mare looking at him through thick lenses. “Sorry, but where can I see about finding my room?”

 

“Of course darling. Name?” She began to look across her long sheets of student info.

 

“Star, Star Keeper.” He gave a bright grin to her, but she didn’t seem to notice.

 

“Star… Star Keeper… S. Ah, here we are. Your room is located just here on the school map. Here’s your key and you should have no trouble finding it. Here’s a copy of the layout just in case.”

 

“Thanks Miss, I’ll be off now.”

Lila shifted her stuff around on her bed, not noticing the new mare who entered the room. She had turned to go explore the rest of the university so she wouldn't get lost when she spotted the yellow coat. "Umm, Hello." She began unsure of how to tackle the situation. Lila then noticed the mare still had her bags on and offered to help.

Lite was surprised by the costumes and masks, but diverted her attention to Diamond.

 

"I'm enrolled wit magic classes, along with a side of history and psychology.", she stated as she walked over to her new bed, parallel to Diamond's. Sadly she had no stuff to unpack.

Sighing, Typhoon took the time to clear his thoughts. Now he was just killing time. He turned on his side to face the floor. He dug deep into the bag he dragged up to his dorm, and from it he pulled a schedule. He planned this year beforehand; another thing to add to a list of things he was, in a sense, early in. He read it, only to memorize what he was about to read. He hated moments like these. His stomach rumbled a bit. Ugh Typhoon thought. Digressing from his original objective, he went to get a snack. On the way out, he looked at his dorm number: 69. Typhoon smiled at this.

"Hi!" Cascade said happily as the unicorn extended a helping hoof. "I got it, thanks," she said, as she set her bags on the floor. She chose to keep her saddlebag with her, hiding her wings, as usual, however. Her eyes scanned the room they were to stay in briefly. Two small closets. Two desks and chairs. Two sets of drawers. Two seperate beds, which looked like they could be made into lofts. Plain, white walls, and two windows on the side of the room farthest away from the door. She could work with this. 

 

She turned back to the mare, and extended her hoof. "I'm Cascade."

[Mortimer 332]

It was the first year for Mortimer to teach at this collegue, he left his old one after he wanted a little of variety in his life, 25 years teaching seemed like a lot to him and he wanted to forget the old, ugly mugs from the old facility.

Mortimer arrived to the teacher's building on the outside of the collegue and started to unpack his things, he had a bed that faced the wall and had a window with a beatiful sights of the surroundings.

He decide to know more about the facility so he stepped in and walked through the corridors.

The sky was its normal blue color. However, there seemed to be a shape flying through the air that was a darker shade compared to the sky blue scenery. The shape bigger and more detailed as it landed at the entrance to the university.

 

The dark blue coated, cerulean and cyan long-maned pegasus, Night Song, trotted up to the entrance, shaking a little with fear. Following instructions from her map and her orientation paper that came with a key, she walked up a flight of stairs to reach her dorm, dorm no. 75.

Mortimer sensed that if he wanted to get a better feeling of the facility, he had to sleep in the same room as somepony. He talked to a mare that looked to be the headmistress and told her to change him to the students, to which she nodded in approval.

He quickly trotted to his old room, grabbed his stuff and run to the student's room.

He found a bed and left his stuff besides it.

He then leaned on the bed, looking around, aimlessly.

"Lila Fireheart of FallenMoon. Pleasure to meet you." she said taking cascades hoof and shaking it. It seemed like the mare was trying to hide her wings for some reason but decided not to ask about it. "So what classes will you be taking this year?" She asked trying to make some conversation. Cascade had started to unpack her belongings - some pretty flowing dresses that generally matched her mane, a few bobble-heads, several notebooks, a curled up poster,  a bunch of old comic books, and a pair of fluffy pink slippers among them - as she talked with Lila. Lila... Her accent was unusual. Wherever FallenMoon was, it was nowhere in Equestria...

 

"Oh, I'm taking marine biology," Cascade said, pulling out a pair of scuba goggles and stuffing them away in the drawer, out of sight. "And... I think I'll check out the University's musical theatre program. Or just their regular theatre or sports or something. I dunno. You?" She voice was rather quick and energetic.

"Relationship with students? You're a teacher? I would have never guessed. And I'm going to say you have the field of Drama and Culinary Arts? Considering your massive wardrobe of costumes and the lot.", she said, taking a look at her side of the room. It was barren compared to Diamond's...

Diamond laughed. "Ooooh...It never get's old." She said. "And yes I am a teacher but don't start calling me Miss Diamond or Miss Light or any of that stuff...I have been staying in the student dorm's ever since I started...I don't like some of the teacher's...They disapprove of how I teach my student's...So I constantly prank the living daylight's out of them...I still haven't been caught. I think its because the headmistress's daughter like's me too much." She chuckled and pushed her suitcase under the bed.
