She smiled and unlocked her door. She walked in and waited for Nightfall to join her. "Hey Lite ? And...Lite's friend." She said. "I um...I'm sorry I forgot about the shopping today...I...Sorry." Her ear's flattened and she looked down at her hooves. "Can we go tomorrow ?" She asked, 

 

 

"You know, you have pretty beautiful eyes too." *They'd look even better if you hadn't been crying.* Sky could quite easily tell that Lite had been crying but he decided not to press on the issue that had made her cry but instead help her forget about it and cheer her up. "In fact I'd say everything about you is beautiful." Sky complimented.

 

"Thanks...", Lite said. And at that moment, she was leaning in to kiss him. Nothing could be more perfect...

 

...Until Diamond showed up. 

 

DANG IT! Why did you have to interrupt that moment, Diamond?!

 

"H-hi, Diamond...", she merely said. "It's fine..." NO IT ISN'T! "Tomorrow would sound good."

Cascade looked up at Rambler, eyes twinking, and it took all her resolve to keep herself from kissing him then and there - she didn't want to chase anypony away again, like she had her last special somepony - and merely embraced him in a tight hug. After several moments of him holding her, she drew back, whispered in his ear "thank you," and kissed him lightly on the cheek before withdrawing just in time for the waitress to arrive.

 

"I'll... I guess I'll have a glass of apple juice, and... and the toasted germane daisies," she said, rather scatterbrainedly.

He trotted out and unlocked his own door, opening it and holding it for Light Diamond.

Rambler blushed when she kissed him, and turned to the waitress.

 

"Oh, I don't know, I guess I'll have the same", after she left he turned back to Cascade.

 

"I really don't want to ruin this but there was one thing that was bothering me earlier. My room-mate, Star keeper, was talking to me earlier and he said the two of you had a history together. Honestly I don't care about who you might have dated in the past, but the thing is, I think he was trying to keep us from going out together. I don't want anything to keep us from being together, so I can't help but worry about it."

Sky then found himself staring into Life's eyes. So he tilted his head and lent forward so his lips were pushing against her's.

 

Good... Now that she's gone, I can continue to try to kiss Sk-- Whaaaaaa?

 

Lite didn't expect the kiss coming from Sky, even though she was about to before Diamond interrupted. But, each passing moment with the kiss, she closed her eyes, and her tongue darted into his mouth, wrapping her hooves around his neck.

So that was Star Keeper I saw earlier... BUCK! He had his chance, and flubbed it. He left me hanging. And... Rambler's his roommate. Great. Just bucking great. Resentment and annoyance welled up inside her, and it must have shown. Well, this evening had had so much potential... 

 

"A history?" She scoffed. "We were together for only one night. One night! And then... I never hear from him again. And now he wants to try and meddle? Ooh, I could just..." She trailed away, evidently unable to actually describe exactly what it was she would do to him, given the opportunity.

Sweets jumped as that voice sprung into her mind... A voice that wasn't her's! She jumped back, wings splayed. "Huh? Wha-?!" she shook her head. "YUm... Y-yea... I am. Who is this? Please say you're not a figment of my mind." she said, opening the door to her room. Two beds were placed inside the room, which meant she was probably going to end up getting a roommate. She brought her belongings in and sighed. "Now, to get this thing unpacked." she made a face. "Fun..."

He laughed, then, with his head still on hers, he hugged her with his hoof.

"But honestly, do you think I should paint it..? I'll see if I can, if you'd like it."

"She most likely will..."

"Its your dorm...So it's up to you. But I love painting, I think its fun. So it's up to you really." She smiled when he hugged her, She shuffled a little closer. "I'm so glad I met you." She said, Looking into his eyes. "Really happy." She shuffled a little closer so they were touching, Then she kissed him.

Sweets would tilt her head to the side. "Shadow..." she stared at her shadow, before digging for a book. It was purple, with a whisp of smoke on the cover. She flipped the pages.  "Oh! Shadow magic!" she grinned. "Eeeee, that's so cool!" she would begin to unpack now, talking. "Well, Night Shimmer. My name is Sweets." as she spoke, a squeal erupted form her again as she held a few books to her chest. 

 

"A shade, so cool!"

Sweets would tilt her head to the side. "Shadow..." she stared at her shadow, before digging for a book. It was purple, with a whisp of smoke on the cover. She flipped the pages.  "Oh! Shadow magic!" she grinned. "Eeeee, that's so cool!" she would begin to unpack now, talking. "Well, Night Shimmer. My name is Sweets." as she spoke, a squeal erupted form her again as she held a few books to her chest. 

 

"A shade, so cool!"

 

Well, aren't YOU the energetic one... It's surprisingly to see a pony who doesn't try to run off or keeps claiming they've gone crazy... How amazing... We might even be good friends by this point, hee hee hee... So, how did you get here, hon? Letter of acceptance? Scholarship?

"Its your dorm...So it's up to you. But I love painting, I think its fun. He kissed her back. After only a few moments, though, he broke the kiss.

"So we didn't end up in the dorm room we wanted to. But at least we did end up together."

He smiled, and laid down in the bed. He got in a position so there would be enough room for Diamond.

"So they can have their time alone, do you want to stay the night?"

He smiled at her.

"Sometimes bad things become good things."
