*OW OW! Careful where you're stomping, you're forgetting I'm under you! But, don't worry hon! I'm sure there's TONS of ponies for you to meet here! Hey, you might even get lucky and meet a nice stallion... My master is too busy sucking face with a colt right now... Don't worry.*

 

"Horsefeathers!!" Sweets gasped, stopping her movement. "I'm so sorry!" she said quickly, ears lowering. As Night Shimmer spoke, Sweets continued to unpack: a picture of her mothers on the nightstand, a mini fridge by the bed. A stuffed animal and on her desk went all her art supplies. "That's a nice thought, but I don't think stallions like overactive mares..." she sighed. "I know, I've been looking for one..." she sighed, eyes closed. "Oh well, I guess. I'll just focus on my studies." she shrugged, before pinning her schedule on her door. She smiled. "There."

He kissed her back. After only a few moments, though, he broke the kiss.

"So we didn't end up in the dorm room we wanted to. But at least we did end up together."

He smiled, and laid down in the bed. He got in a position so there would be enough room for Diamond.

"So they can have their time alone, do you want to stay the night?"

He smiled at her.

"Sometimes bad things become good things."

 

Diamond nodded and lay down next to Nightfall. "Why not." She said, Smiling and holding his hoof. "I think Sky and Lite will be happy about this." She grinned and pecked him on the cheek. "You don't mind do you ? I don't want to intrude or anything." She said, Blushing.

Shade looked at the water, she had never really gone swimming for fun before... She had swam before, when the sewers were flooded.

She jumps in and thinks, * this isn't going so bad*

 

* so night said I should talk about myself... What is there to talk about myself? *

 

"I... Am just wondering... Why... Did you choose me? Or I mean... What do you see In me" she asked...

* red alert red alert... I shouldn't have asked that!!!*

"I don't know... it's just *sigh* I think I do know," Typhoon said, realizing that that statement didn't really make much sense "I've always sort of had this feeling, like I know someone before I actually really meet them. I don't know, it's like a weird, soulful feeling. But I don't really get that with you. It's like, there's a lot more than meets the eye with you, but maybe that's a good thing," Way to make a reference, Ty. He thought. ((Be back in like an hour, making some dinner))

Lila shuffled around the room looking for something to do. She thought about making another potion for cascade but wasn't in the mood. She began to grow frustrated with having nothing to do. Inevitably her horn glowed a purple flame and two balls of purple fire appeared in mid air. She shot them in a random direction of the room, then heard glass break. She looked and saw that one of the glass bottles had ben broken, and the edges slightly melted and deformed. "Wh-? Did I just...?" as she questioned herself Lila created more of the little fire orbs and made them lift up a piece of broken glass, making sure they didn't melt it. "Amazing! I didn't know I could do this! Its almost like levitation, but the next best thing to it!" she yelled with joy. She dropped the piece of broken glass, which resulted in smaller shards. Lila ran out of the room, carrying her books with the new method of 'levitation'. *I need to get down to the training area and see if I can learn some of these spells*

He held her close to him and tried to calm her down. He could never do something like that to her. What gave Star the right to interfere, as if he owned her or something.

 

"He just left? That's horrible. How could anybody just abandon someone as amazing as you? Well, he had his chance, and it's his loss, because now that I'm with you, I never want to leave your side."

Cascade allowed him to hold her, and shuddered with suppressed rage, and buried under even that, grief. She only half listened, lost in her thoughts. She had been so worried she would just be turned away for the way she was... And honestly, she sometimes wondered whether the wings were the only things different about her... She gave an involuntary tremor at the thought of being even more different than she was now. She just wanted to be normal. When their meals arrived, she tore into it, allowing it to distract her from these dark thoughts.

(I assumed that was only for the Pirate RP, but yes, I know what you're talking about. Wait, does that mean that both RPs are in the same universe? And does that mean that you used to be a pirate before you went to college? My brain hurts.)

 

Rambler started to eat his food, but he could tell that something was wrong with Cascade.

 

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought Star Keeper up. It's not fair for you to have to spend the rest of the night like this. Is there anything I can do to help you feel better?"

Cascade took a deep breath. Star Keeper wasn't even here, and he was ruining her evening. And that was playing right into his hooves. "No, no, it's fine," she said, calming down. "I should enjoy the time I'm spending with you. Not gonna let anything ruin our night." She made a brave attempt at a smile.

Rambler could see she was trying her best to take her mind off of Star Keeper, and he wanted to help however he could. Remembering the flask in his coat pocket, he could think of at least one thing.

 

"Hey, it's alright. Maybe it would help if you had something a little stronger than apple juice."

Cascade eyed the stallion strangely. What could he mean? Stronger than app- ohhhhhh. She gave him a mock scandalized look. "You want to get me drunk?" she whispered, quietly enough for only him to hear. She shrugged. Why not? But she wouldn't drink much. And only if he had some, too.

Rambler laughed. What else could he have meant? This was college after all, drinking was practically required.

 

"Well I'm certainly not going to drink alone! Here, try some of this." Rambler handed her his flask of whiskey.

 

"Go ahead, take a swig. It may not be the fanciest way to drink but it gets the job done." Again Rambler laughed

Lite couldn't help but moan into her kissing, as she was tacked to the wall by Sky.

 

I can't believe it... I'm being kissed by the stallion that I like! The Void would be so jealous once they hear about this!

 

She eventually broke the kiss, catching her breath, and looking into Sky's yellow eyes. "That... was so amazing..."

Sky smiled and kept his hooves wrapped around Lite. Keeping their bodies pressed together. Their faces inches away from each other. "I could stay like this forever." Sky said before once again pushing his mouth against Lite's. *I can't believe this is happening.*

Arrow Head walks in ready to start swimming with towel on his back until he sees the two ponies together. *Oh... Shiza* he thought slowly backing away to leave. He wasn't expecting to see other ponies here, in fact, he was starting to get curious but refused to stay and kept walking backwards slowly.

Lila had chosen to take the route to the training area that passed by the pool, which was a longer trek, unaware that in her path was a brown coated stallion backing his way out of the door. She noticed him right before they collided. "Oh, um excuse me, sorry..." she said as she scooted around him. Lila also noticed that he himself was a unicorn. After that slightly awkward encounter, Lila continued on to the training area quickly forgetting the stallion.

Diamond nodded and lay down next to Nightfall. "Why not." She said, Smiling and holding his hoof. "I think Sky and Lite will be happy about this." She grinned and pecked him on the cheek. "You don't mind do you ? I don't want to intrude or anything." She said, Blushing.

 

He figured, but didn't ask, that Sky and Lite would be happy by Diamond not going back into her room that night.

Cascade smiled mischievously, and took a swig from the container before handing it back to Rambler. The effect was nearly instantaneous. Her mind began to clear of the fog of doubt it had been swimming in...

(OOC: I know, I'm in college and not only do I never drink, but I actually can't get drunk for medical reasons. I felt like I needed to add something like that though.)

 

Rambler took back his flask and before taking a swig laughed and said, "Now that's what I like to see. I like a girl who can enjoy a good drink every now and then." 

 

He then took a deep pull from his flask, taking several gulps of the strong whiskey. Immediately he felt better with a little alcohol in his bloodstream.

 

"So, I think we're about done here- and before you say anything I insist on paying the bill- what should we do now?"

He figured, but didn't ask, that Sky and Lite would be happy by Diamond not going back into her room that night.

"Intruding..? How would you be intruding..? You aren't; so I don't mind."

He smiled and kissed her.

"Good night, Diamond..."

He smiled once again and shut out the lights.

Diamond smiled and kissed him back. "Good night...Nightfall." She smiled and shuffled closer to Nightfall. She nuzzled him then closed her eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Cascade shrugged. She didn't mind letting Rambler pay this time, now that he was her special somepony. Technically. "I dunno. We'll have plenty of time to figure something out on our way back to campus, though, won't we? I wouldn't mind swimming, to be honest with you. The pool here is amazing."

Rambler payed the bill and left the restaurant with Cascade.

 

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind swimming, either. As a kid I spent a lot of time in the port of Bayfast, and I used to work as a sailor during the summers, so I'm definitely comfortable in the water. Do you swim a lot?"

She smiled vaguely as they walked along. "All the time," she said. Her wings fluttered pridefully, and this time she did not attempt to restrain them. "It's about all these are useful for. They're like giant flippers." She giggled at the comparison she had just made before going on, "I simply love the water. I'm even majoring in something that'll keep me in it. Marine Biology, you know."

Rambler examined her wings again, now understanding them a little better. In fact they almost seemed familiar, like he'd seen wings like that before somewhere. He couldn't actually think of where, though, and eventually the feeling of familiarity left his mind.

 

"Wow, that's really cool. If you ask me it makes up for not being able to fly. But I guess I wouldn't know, being an Earth Pony. And you're studying marine biology? That's cool, too. I've always been interested in marine biology, probably because I've spent a lot of time on the water, but I'm just not the scientist type." 

 

They arrived back on campus a few minutes later.

 

"Well, I guess we have to go back to our dorms to change. Meet you at the pool?"
