"She caught herself. That's a good sign. Keep her as your marefriend."

"Yeah..." He was still blushing a bit, and stayed silent as he opened the door into the dorms and held it for Diamond.

"But- that shouldn't keep you from coming over... I mean, instead of going out tonight, if- if you planned on going out, of course... there is the soup I made..."

His blush got slightly worse.

Diamond smiled."I'd love too...And yes, Of course I will still come over." She said, Stepping through the door and moving towards the stairs. "I'll just get changed...Do you have any other classes today ?" She asked, walking up the stairs and towards her room, Which was across the hall from Nightfalls. "I also cant forget that Lite and I are going out shopping...We will probably leave after her last class."

He sighed at the thought of that, but only a moment later, he was as happy as normal.

"Great. So... I guess I'll see you soon..?"

He opened his door, but faced Diamond, waiting on an answer.

"If she says yes, you may be forced to only rinse off instead of shower fully..."

"Was I planning on showering..?"

"Of course! You need to!"

"No, not until the start of next week. I won't have too much free time after that, I'm afraid..."

He sighed at the thought of that, but only a moment later, he was as happy as normal.

"Great. So... I guess I'll see you soon..?"

He opened his door, but faced Diamond, waiting on an answer.

"If she says yes, you may be forced to only rinse off instead of shower fully..."

"Of course! You need to!"

Diamond nodded. "I'd love too...I just wanna shower first...That water kinda messed up my mane so I am going to brush it again...Plus I am rather cold." She smiled. "I'll see you in a few minutes." She gave him a quick peck on the cheek, Then she trotted across the hall to her dorm. She walked in and trotted to the bathroom, Where she took off her clothes and started the shower.

"I don't know, but I heard it was a unicorn who might've caused it. I also heard these was another one in there who collapsed," Night Song replied concernedly. "If it were a fire, there would've been a crackling sound, along with a roar," she pointed out.

The unicorn lifted her head a little. She overheard everything and strained to say that she was ok, but that spell was one of those advanced ones that could leave a novice completely winded. "Th-" she couldn't get a single word out. Then she realized she was being carried and was tempted to just throw herself onto the ground, since she hated being handled this way.

Diamond nodded. "I'd love too...I just wanna shower first...That water kinda messed up my mane so I am going to brush it again...Plus I am rather cold." She smiled. "I'll see you in a few minutes." She gave him a quick peck on the cheek, Then she trotted across the hall to her dorm. She walked in and trotted to the bathroom, Where she took off her clothes and started the shower.

 

"She's showering... good. Gives me time to shower."

He trotted into his own room and started his shower. He then picked out some clothes, a little more casual than last night, and got undressed. In the shower, he spent a good amount of time thinking to himself and standing in the warm water.

Arrow mentally face hoof. *good bucking job... Plothole!* "Fick sie." He swore at him self in germane. "No... It wouldn't."  He said almost in a depressed way, thinking about what he said. He always thought of problems as if the universe is saying 'don't do that', or 'do this again and you're going to have problems. He took it as a sign and forgot that it was ever a real problem. He started to cough again this time twirling his head away from Lila so she couldn't see the blood flying out of his mouth. 

Lila gave him a glare, "No, it wouldn't."

After a few more moments of walking Lila heard something from behind her. She looked behind her and saw the mare was starting to wake. A wave a relief washed over Lila, "Hey..." she began in a soft and comforting voice, "Don't worry, we're almost to the clinic. And Arrow, you'll be staying there too. If you weren't running around breathing in that smoke you wouldn't have the cough." she said with a flat voice. She was still a little agitated with Arrow at the moment seeing his attitude towards the whole thing.

Ty casually walked to the nearest exit as the alarm had gone off. He wasn't scared of fires at all. He declared himself a pyromaniac at a young age. Hope there's no panic, even more so that nopony got hurt (implying that there even was a fire). His thoughts went on.

Cascade waved her hooves. "No, no, I'm done anyway, and its getting close to Swim Team tryouts. I need to go get ready anyway." She nodded kindly at Star, and tossing out her empty plate, started on her way back to Prancer Hall.

Arrow looked down, ears flattened and walked behind a little. *Well good job, after this she'll probably not want to see you any more.* He thought. *If she does, you'll be fine... You'll be fine.* He lied to himself. He didn't want her to go but that was not his choice. (its cool)

He looks over at the pony lying on the shoulders of Lila. As Lila started to talk to the mare and mentions him, he looks back down on the side walk and continues to fall back a lil more, but still following.

*Finally, my back is getting sore...* Lila thought as the trio arrived at the clinic, and she gently set the mare on a stretcher and turned to arrow. Lila pointed to a spot in the room without a word and sat on the opposite side keeping her eyes away from Arrow.

The unicorn wasn't so pleased with Arrow's words, but also didn't enjoy being put on a stretcher. She knew very well that it would help her recover, but felt it was completely unnecessary. She wanted to get up and sit on the couch instead, but still couldn't move. She could talk better now though. "Than-" but the words still got caught in her throat.

He starts to feel as if he can't breathe for some reason. He's still taking breaths, is from the smoke? Beause it feels like I'm getting air. He was now weezing a bit.

Diamond climbed into the shower and started washing her mane, Enjoying the hot water. *I have a colt friend, I have a colt friend.* She thought, smiling and turning off the water. She got out of the shower and dried off her mane and tail. She looked into the mirror and grabbed her hair mane brush.

Lila gave Arrow a scowl, "Fine. I'll be back. If you're not here when I am, so help me I don't do something i'll regret later and get you sent back here anyways." With that Lila left just as the nurse came by to check up on Arrow and the mare on the stretcher.

Lila approached her stuff that she had left behind at the training area, a protective shield around her to keep the left over smog away from her. By this point the sprinklers had stopped. She stopped looking at the soaked leather coverings of the books and slowly opened one of them. To her worst fear, the pages were sopping wet and the ink smeared. She flipped through the pages in hopes of finding at least one dry page, but came up empty hooved. She then did the same with the next book, throwing them aside in disappointment and rage. When all the books had been flipped and turned through Lila sat alone in her protective shield, crying to herself. Thoughts of collapsing the shield and letting what was left of the smoke kill her filled her mind, but it just didn't seem like it was worth it. She got up and slowly made her way back to the clinic, hopping that Arrow had actually left before she got there.

With that he rushes to a near by garbage can and throws up the blood into it. "Muuugh!" He finally yelled out. "I don't need help!" With that, he walks off a few feet and collapses with a dull thump.

Rambler had been sitting in the lounge when he saw Cascade walk in. At first he thought it might be better just to ignore her and leave her alone, but he couldn't help but say something. He got up and walked over.

 

"Hey Cascade, I just wanted to tell you again that I'm sorry. The way I acted, it was so unlike me. I just got nervous at the possibility that  anything could get between us, and I only made it worse. But, like I said before, I just want you to make whatever choice you think will make you happiest. That's what really matters."

Arrow was just leaving the clinic with blood seeping through his mouth. *I don't want help!* He was wanting to yell out at the nurse but couldn't from the blood rushing to his mouth. With that he rushes to a near by garbage can and throws up the blood into it. "Muuugh!" He finally yelled out. "I don't need help!" With that, he walks off a few feet and collapses with a dull thump.

Lila had the clinic insight and saw no signs of Arrow there. That both worried her and made her glad, but she stopped to look around. After a minutes of doing so she spoted a large brow lump by the trash can. Lila cautiously went up to it seeing it was Arrow, and he wasnt breathing. At least she didnt think he was. It supprised her that the nurse didnt hunt him down, or that no pony saw him there. Just to be on the safe side she began a resurrection spell, hopping it didnt become incomplete...

(Im assuming arrow is 'dead' right now)

He spent a while in the shower, but soon snapped himself back into reality and finished showering. He got out of the shower and dried off, putting on his new clothes. He set up his small table and set it for two while magically heating up the soup. After that he sat back on his bed and waited for a knock on the door.

Cascade smiled softly at his words. She pulled Rambler into a close hug, drawing it out for longer than he surely would have expected. Into his ear, she murmured, "It's okay." She had forgiven him.

 

Pulling back out of the hug, Cascade looked into his eyes for a few moments before drawing away from him slightly. She wasn't going to make this easy for him, no. Hiding a smile as she trotted away, she looked over her shoulder at the stallion and asked, "I'll see you later?"

Rambler was pleasantly surprised when Cascade pulled him into a hug, and for the first time all day he felt that maybe things were going to be okay.

 

When she asked if she would see him again later, it only made feel that much better.

With a smile at Rambler over her shoulder, Cascade trotted down the hall, and into her room. Lila wasn't there. With a busy schedule like hers, well, Cascade wasn't entirely surprised. She stripped, and put on her streamlined one-piece bathing suit. Over that she put the clothes she had previously been wearing, so she wouldn't have to change when it was actually time to get in the pool. Now fully dressed and ready, Cascade sat down at her desk, deciding to pass a little time by doodling. Tryouts weren't for another hour, after all.

He slid out of the bed and smiled at the mare, moving towards her a bit.

"So she's here. Congrats. Now what."

Diamond smiled and trotted in, closing the door behind her. "The soup smell's delicious." She said, Kissing him on the cheek. "I cant forget that Lite and I are going to go shopping...Later this afternoon...But we still have time to...Hang out and stuff." She said.

He was a little upset she was going shopping, but the arrangements were made before and couldn't be skipped a second time. Nightfall pulled out and held a seat for Diamond, smiling.
