[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

(OOC: PWD Ace doesn't have a Roommate. You guys need to ask some people in the OOC Topic.)

 

Mortimer stood up from his bed and walked outside of his room and to the hall. He saw a lot of ponies entering the rooms. "This is going to be a busy day." he thouht.
He then saw a pony knocking on a door that definitely looked like a teacher.
He approached the teacher and asked very gently "Hello, are you a teacher?"

 

"Um yea...I just...I will find you in a couple minutes." She said, As Lila pulled the door to their room open.

While Lila was busy admiring the deformed wings she heard a knock on the door. "Excuse me real quick." she said as she sprung to the door. Opening it she was met by a tall purple mare, who she assumed was one of the teachers. *Great. A pep talk.* she thought as her mood dropped. "HI there, please come in." she said not trying to sound rude.

"Hello...Um...Lila ?" Smiling at the pony who had just pulled the door open. "My name is Light Diamond. You can just call me Diamond if you want...Anyway, I teach Drama and Culinary art's and I am also the lucky one in charge of this dorm...So I thought I would come by and introduce myself...Which I usually wouldn't do because personally I think its weird but its my job." She frowned. 

 

 

 

Cascade managed to steal a peek over Lila's shoulder, and saw the tall purple mare. She looked a bit older - she couldn't be one of the students? What could she want?

@@Flying Ace, Quip looked over at the colt that just opened the door, "What kind of question is that? You're looking at me, i think that proves that somepony in fact IS in here. You going to be rooming here? Good, because i was getting bored. I'm Quip, the chemistry teacher, and who are you?" he asked before getting off the bed and standing up.

"Oh, ok." *Great now theres someone in charge* she thought to herself. "Well umm, im Lila and this is Cascade." She said motioning towards the yellow coated mare. Looking back at her she seemed timid and was trying to hide her wings. Lila didnt see why she would hide them. "I guess if you need anything im going to be spending a majority of my time here. I need to finish unpacking." She paused and turned to look at Cascade once more then back at Diamond giving her a smile. Lila went to her bags and pulled out a potion brewing stand and set it gently on one of the desk in the room, along with some glass bottles and ingredients. She took a step back pleased that nothing was broken.

Diamond smiled. Back at Lila. "So I have one big rule that if you don't follow I will kick you out of the dorm...Don't call me miss Diamond or Miss Light Or any of that stuff...I hate being looked at as a teacher. I prefer being called...A friend who show's her other friends how to do cool stuff." She chuckled. "Ok...I need to go to stupid stuff that involve's me being a grown up...It was nice meeting you two." She smiled at Lila and Cascade, Then trotted down the hall to where @@Mortimer, Stood. "Hey...You wanted to speak with me ?"

Rambler entered his dorm and found that his roommate hadn't arrived yet. Laying his things on the floor next to one of the beds, he decided to wait for his roommate before he left to do anything. In the meantime, he sang an old folk tune his father had taught him. 

Star found the room easy enough, looking across it the door was slightly ajar, meaning his room mate had already arrived. Gingerly he crept through the door way, taking a quick look around the interior of the room before fixing his gaze on the whistling pony. He seemed alright, not somepony that was going to beat the snot out of him at least. Star entered the room and walked up to his room mate, offering out a hoof. "Hi, my names Star Keeper. Looks like you're my new room mate."

To talk to her or something." Wings still plastered to her side, she gazed at the glass doodads that Lila was pulling out of her bag curiously, before turning back to her own belongings. She hadn't brought much.

Lite Shade was just in her room, alone... Something she had been used to when her master had left... It was a bit tear-jerking, until she got up and went out into the hallway. Looking around the dorm, she was going that she could talk with somepony... Maybe her shadow magic could help out here...

((It actually is annoying. The fire alarms used to go off at least twice a week, past midnight every single time...))

 

 

Cascade shrugged, and extended her wings, rather self-consciously, for the mare to examine. It was for the best; Lila seemed to know what she was talking about, and if what she was talking about could work... She almost shuddered as she felt Lila's eyes passed over them. "Thanks, Lila. It would be amazing if you can do that..."

"Yes" he said gently. "First i want to introduce, my name is Mortimer and this is going to be 26th year teaching, however i'm new at this institution and i would gently want some feedback regarding the activities and schedules of this collegue." He then looked around as if he was being chased.

"I also hope we can get along, what's the subject you teach?"

He looked at the clocked and sighed, "I'm guessing classes wont start till tomorrow, so we will have a whole day to do nothing, sounds fun." He got back on his bed and closed his eyes.

Diamond raised her eyebrow's at Mortimer. *Oh dear...He's so proper.* She thought. "Ummm...Drama and Culinary Art's." She said. "You ?" She asked. *He is gonna be full of rules...I just know it...Ugh, I gotta stop jumping to conclusions.* She thought, Adjusting her hat to give herself something to do apart from stand there and stare at Mortimer.

Lite Shade continued to walk through the hallway, looking at all the sights that the dorm had to offer. Her old feeling of exploring places that wasn't shadows was beginning to come back into her head... It was an old habit of hers. Master Sombra had always made her stay within the shadows, she would never come back up to the outside until her lessons were done... 

 

She was deep in memories that she didn't even notice a wall in her way, and walked straight into it, conking her head and falling to the floor, rump first.

Air Opal, completely lost, wandered the hallways past jubilant ponies, examining the map, trying to find his way, but he was obviously lost. He didn't want to use his magic to give away his talent so obviously, as it was unlike him, but he spotted a dark looking pony who had fallen in the hallway. He picked up the pace and stopped in front of her. As much as he liked to keep to himself and be alone, he had a roommate and he was bound to meet him or her anyway. Helping up the mare, he asked her, "Could you direct me toward Room 127, I've got to unpack and get ready for first day tomorrow."

 

((OOC: Unless you have already established a roommate, in which case you may point me in a random direction where Air Opal will thank you and leave, is it alright if I make this quick and Air Opal is your roommate? If not, there is another reason to send me a different direction. Mention me in the post either way.))

shade left her room and walked around the dorm, there wasnt much to see, all the ponies around her made her made her feel like a shadow. but it wasnt a new feeling, she had felt like a shadow for along time.

thinking that she should look like her changeling self... just to stand out... but was it worth the risk?

Lila gently took one of the wings in her hoof, feeling the deformities. She noticed how tense the muscles were. "You're really not comfortable in these are you?" she asked with a gentle tone. One that would be used on a distressed filly. "You should really relax the muscles. I wouldn't think its good for the bone or the wing over all." The wing felt weird but at the same time it fascinated her. She considered herself and Cascade  lucky to have pulled the same room. Lila let go of Cascades wing and gave her a smile. "Well since we don't have anything to do today ill get started on working on something temporary for you." Lila went up to her stuff on the desk trying to decide what ingredients to use.

That was another thing about her.. If she ruined something, or didn't know anything, she would always look down on herself. Another thing Master Sombra told her...
