"Someones confident" she noted in reply to Slicer, then she turned to Leaf - "my money's on the Earth pony, no wings, no magic, what can he offer?" she said with a rather demeaning tone, before trotting to the door. As she reached the door, she turned back to Slicer "Oh, watch your step" she said with a wink, gesturing at her frosted hoofprints behind her on the floor, "and while you're at it, watch mine would you dear?" she laughed again, and hopped out the door.

"Okay, I wasn't insulting earth ponies, I'm friends with many of them back in home..." he replied to both Slicer and Arctic.  Leaf then saw everyone leaving for the boat and immediately ran through the exit, but not before slipping and falling on Arctic's frosted footprints into a barrel inside the tavern.

North gave Slicer a strange look. "Well, I put a whole stack on the table earlier. You must not of taken one. Luckily, I have a few extras-" he rummaged through his saddlebag and pulled out another copy of the book Legends of the Jungle. "Not everything in there has been confirmed, but the entries with notations? Those are the ones I saw last time. Evergreen took extra notes for me."

 

The group trotted out of the main gates of the city, and across the desert, to where the ocean was visible some distance away. 

 

((Use the book to make your own suggestions as to what may be in the jungle. But just because your OC reads about it doesn't mean we'll encounter one. I control the jungle, so remember that. You all have a copy.))

Démence sat up quickly, and walked over to the rest of the group. "About time." He said to himself. Overhearing a conversation, he replied "I don't care who dies first, but if there is death, it wont be mine." His grin widens. Démence was prepared to do anything for his own safety. Even if that means the death of others.

Slicer grinned and took the book from North. "My bad...I must have missed them. Thank's." He said, Placing the book in his bag.

"And I never said you were insulting earth ponies. But it sure sounded like Frostbite was." He said, giving Frostbite a bit of an annoyed look.

Leaf had finally caught up with the group, he almost broke his wing when he slipped, but other than that he's fine. "I shouldn't really hold Arctic responsible for me slipping... I should of watched where I was going..." he thought. He then took out the book that would give information about the jungle and flipped it to a random page where he saw a creature that's scarier than a Cockatrice. "A Cockamedusa can turn anything into stone instantly, and has a farther range of it's victim. But it has to have it's victim in sight and the victim in the creature's eyes, it's easily vulnerable and can die in one touch. It's also turns it's victims back to normal if killed." he read to himself.

"I wasn't insulting them, per se, I was just wondering why Princess Celestia would have sent an Earth pony on this journey. We have magic, and you Pegasi can fly. So I just...well, I suppose he does look fairly strong, and she wouldn't have chosen him if she didn't see potential I guess..." She continued walking as she spoke, not looking back to talk directly to the ponies behind her. "but one thing I do know, is that we're not going to make it out this unless we work together" she turned to look at Démence, "at least, not all of us will."

Aqua over heard it all as he followed the group but did not say anything, for all will be shown in the forest. Aqua does not have wings and can not use magic, so he puts him self through rigorous training to compensate. Already knowing that he had everything in his satchel and having read most of the book he just calmly and collectively followed the group not saying a word.

Star Rain casted some disapproving looks at the group of ponies who were betting on who's going to die first. Her senses of gratitude toward Arctic were gone. Lowlives... betting on other ponies' lives like a bunch of heartless things. Disregarding them, she opened up the jungle book she got from North Arrow. They weren't much though, as she could easily identify them without looking at her books. Still, she knew this wasn't any ordinary jungle. With that in mind, she simply read it like she was studying for a huge exam.

"Think what you want, but I plan on coming back alive." He laughed. Going back to the book, he saw something that caught his attention. 'Runespoor' 'A three headed snake. How fun. Deadly, but fun.' Démence made it his goal to capture one of these creatures. He could wipe out the rest of the zebra race.

"Well...Usually I wouldn't want to come on this kind of trip...But I got a letter from Celestia, Saying that if I did...Well...She would kinda help clear up some...Uh...Rumors...Yea...Rumors about me...So I decided to come." He said, grinning at a few younger zebra's who were staring at him as the group walked by, Their eye's widened when they saw his teeth. Slicer chuckled and looked back at Aqua. "What about you ? Why did you decide to come ?" He asked.

for some reason, she felt like such an outcast among these ponies.

Unholy turned to Aqua, even though she couldn't see him, her eyes appeared to lock on to exactly where he was.

"You will see in due time my dear" straight after he said that he flicked two apple sized rocks into the air with his bo staff, jumped met them half way when they came back down and kicked them into dust, then landed back on to the floor as lightly as taking another step. "If a pony can master there own skills they are just as great and powerful as the next" Aqua then carried on smiling.

"Impressive, but dont get too carried away with flashy moves" she warned, slightly flicking her head to one side at pelting a snowball at him. "Speed and precision - it's all in the execution" 

 

She then turned to Wind Slicer, "I don't have the luxury of such delicacies" she replied. "Due to the nature of my magic, I have to maintain a very strict diet."

North looked around. They had just entered a small fishing villiage, and he led the wandering group towards the docks, where there was a single, large clunker docked. Well, it may not be pretty, but it would get them there. The gangplank was lowered, and North flew slightly above the rest of the group momentarily to speak. "It'll be a tight squeeze but this was the best boat we could get our hooves on. Alright, two to a room. Find yourself a rooming buddy, so you're not stuck with somepony you don't like. We'll be arriving in the Jungle tomorrow morning." His speech over, he swooped back down to land on the ground, and simply sat. He figured he'd take whoever wasn't picked.

In response to this he flips backwards and with one hoof on his bo staff smashes the snow ball back in to snow which melted before it  reached the floor. "Speed, precision, power and execution is what i specialise on" as Aqua finished his sentence he noticed North shoot up in the air.
