"I think you're right, if you'll excuse me, I really need to try and rest" she said, as she stood up wearily, and limped into the tent, curling up in the corner again and closing her eyes, ready to sleep.

Unholy got up and flicked her short tail.

"Aqua? where did you go?" Unholy called softly.

Unholy walked around slowly, waiting for Aqua to reply to her.

(OCC: sorry i've been gone, ive been studying like crazy for mid-terms so i haven't been able to get on. when i got on today, i found out that during the time i was studying, i had been on a 2-day ban, so i guess it wasn't a loss for me )

"Hey unholy, i am over here" Aqua shouted not sure if he should get up and go over to her, or if she would be able to find her way over to him. He stood up and pulled another log over to where he was sat so that unholy had a place to sit as well. He did not sit down instead he waited for Unholy to come over.

Unholy listened to the sound of Aqua's voice and followed it.

She walked over. but walked a little too far and tripped over the stump that Aqua had just pulled over.

"oh sweet Celestia! that hurt!" she screeched as she picked herself up, and began to brush the dirt off of her.

"when did this stump get here?..." she grumbled, kicking the stump over.she

 squealed and and grabbed her back left hoof, hopping up and down in pain.

Aqua slightly laughed at the event that just happened in front of him, "Unholy are you ok?" he asked and then told her, "ohh yeah and by the way i moved the log over here when i shouted you, so that you could have a place to sit when you came over". Aqua then wondered if her hoof was ok but did not want to ask incase it seemed he was mocking her.

Frostbite jumped at the sudden commotion happening outside her tent. "Aqua? Is everything alright" she shouted. She had heard him shout unholy over, and nopony else seemed to be distressed by the events so she assumed the best, but still...she wanted to be sure.

"yeah everything is ok, don't worry about it - it was just unholy tripping over" he said reassuring her that everything was ok. He looked up wondering what time it was, unfortunately he could not see anything because of the massive trees blocking out the most of the light, but he guessed that night was almost over, now that from what he could see it seemed that the moon was pretty low but who knew.

 

(OOC: I am going to start moving the night on now, because it has been about four days and we are on the same night, and i don't want this RP to die out)

Unholy sat down and pouted.

"I blame you for this." she said, a little upset that Aqua had moved the stump without telling her.

she curled up on the ground and fell asleep, she figured the night would go by faster if she slept through it.

-Time Skip-

 

The first rays of light began to peep from over the horizon, but were not immediately evident through the thick foliage of the jungle. The first sign North noticed about the time of day was of the increased activity of the more benevolent wildlife. The eternal, daytime twilight began to faintly creep into the Jungle. North, who had been standing rigid sentinel,blinked a few times, and quite suddenly barked, "Up! Time to get up, everypony!" He glanced around, awfully glad they hadn't seen anything that night. Perhaps the yateveo they had slept between had had a bit of a bad rep in the jungle, and nothing would have wanted to approach them.

Slicer had been staring at the same spot on a tree the whole night. He stood up and put on his bag when he heard North's voice. Absent of any emotion he trotted over to a log and sat down, waiting for the rest of the crew to get up so they could move forwards into the jungle.

Star Rain stretched her forelegs, feeling very refreshed. Her wounds still stung though, but the moss and the ointment had done her good. She made her tent disappear and levitated her saddlebags over to her side. She simply sat down and took a sip of water from her canister, which was still plentiful with water because she didn't drink much.

Frostbite stretched, and the thin layer of ice that had formed over her body shattered like brittle glass. She looked back at wounds, to see they had almost completely healed, there was only broken skin that remained to be healed.

She stood up in the tent and looked around, the ice was starting to melt inside, but how was the tent going to be put away? If she removed the ice, it would create so much water the tent would be saturated...

After brushing her hair again, she trotted outside to fully come around. She also awaited the awakening of the other ponies while she contemplated ideas to get the tent away...and dry.

Aqua woke up not realising that he had fallen to sleep until he woke up, "MORNING CAMPERS" he said with a little chuckle after, then he looked around to see if any other ponies were up, it seemed that North was up, Slicer looked like he had not been to sleep,Star was up having a drink, and frostbite was up but she was looking puzzled at the tent. Unholy was still asleep next to him, he was not sure if he should wake her up or not.

Leaf woke up to realize he had dozed off, he had been on guard with North for the remainder of the night. He then got up and stretched for a bit. "That has been a long night for me." he said.

Unholy twitched an ear at the sound of North's voice then yawned.

She got up, wiping the sleep  from her eyes. Unholy trotted over to the group, clearly ready to leave this particular part of the jungle.

Finally, we get to move forward... Autumn thought to herself.

Démence sat up and opened his eyes at the sound of North's voice. They were getting ready to move. Perfect. He looked around at the other ponies. Most of them were awake. He looked to the jungle and smiled. 

'A jungle, where nopony dare to tread. A group, but how many end up dead.' 

Démence recited the rhyme in his head. He would end up dead. He knew he would. But he would help others in surviving.

She knew he hated her because she was part zebra, but there was something about Demence that made Unholy feel... different...

Démence saw the green zebra walk over to him. "Probably not. But no point turning back now." It seemed like suicide, wandering into a living jungle that wanted to kill them. How far in would he make it. How far in would everypony make it. Hopefully, most ponies would survive.

She shook her head and turned around, unsure what to do. 

She looked around, seeing most of the the other ponies awake and ready to go. She walked over and stood by North "You alright? You don't look like you got too much sleep." she asked with a twinge of concern. "Where are we planning on getting today?" she asked, looking off into the depths of the jungle.

"Well, I guess we will never know whats in store out there." Unholy said, turning her head towards the center of the jungle.

"We can only hope at least one pony will make it through." she added with a swish of her tail.

"I know I'm not going to make it..." she whispered to Demence, then lowered her head in shame.

Démence listened to what was said. "Lets just hope that, if you do die, you die happy." He felt so odd, trying to comfort somepony. Especially a zebra. "Besides... If I have no ideas on letting anypony or zebra die on this trip." As much as he hated zebras, he could never let her die.

"I will admit, the only reason I came on this trip... was to find a special plant..." Unholy admitted.

"Zecora told me of a plant that only grows here... that will give me back my sight... but I know I'll never find it... and it's too dangerous to use..." She muttered, half to herself.

Slicer couldn't help but give North and Frostbite a suspicious look. *If you were to just kill North...You could have her all to yourself. Or you could kill them both and you wont have to worry about any of this any time soon.* *Not now.* *Fine.* He thought, spreading his wings and flying over to North. "Can we get going ?"

Aqua packed anything he had out and stood up at the top of his voice he shouted, "is there any pony that needs help with anything, before we set off ?". Hoping that we were going to make a move through the jungle soon. As he was saying this he walked over to Démence, "hows those wounds of yours coming along ?" he asked.

Star Rain looked back at her own wounds, which were pretty sore because she had slept on them. "Yeah, I don't need any help," she called out to Aqua Pura. The speed that she walked in though said otherwise. She tried to cover them up with her saddlebags, but it didn't do much good.
