In need of a web-Dev team

Alright, I have the goal posted in my recent blog here...

I do believe this would be the place in the forums to put this thread.

 

Now those of you who have done, or are in web development know what will be expected from this project.  But I am not only looking for those who are able to do the tech-side of this site, but those who want to develop the user-experience.

 

What I need now:

A discussion/planning group to help get a direction for the project.

 

Will need:

programmers (we will decide on a language at a later time) with HTML formatting experience

Art team

GUI/VGUI development (Discuss at a later time.)

Alpha testers

 

For now that is what we will need to get this started.  Any further recruiting will be re-posted here.

I used to know how to code (very crappily, but I digress.) so I guess I'll sign on as an alpha tester when you have a finished product. Oh, and you have my backing and support.

Yeah, I am a bit rusty since I took up art over programming.  May have to refresh myself with whatever language is chosen.  But that's great! Thanks for joining up Kolth

I could be part of the art team if you really need one. I'm still a beggining artist but I can draw pretty well(I guess).  but I dont think ill be doing much of the work if this is a real thing. I could just be the one coloring stuff and shading. I cant actually draw out the layout

Sure thing! We can use many different skill types, so once we get the direction figured out we'll figure where the art will go soon after.

Geese, I was just thinking if there was a dating site for Bronies one time, just out of curiosity. But quickly dropped the idea.

 

This is an interesting project. I myself is working towards a life of programming itself. I have a course from Stratford Career Institute for my diploma in "Computer programming". What else, eh? Anyway, the language I am going to be learning is C and C++. But I plan on learning more languages as I progress. So no matter what, I will became a expert programmer, for it is my dream

 

But I literal just started studying. I have lots of spare time though, so I do need a project to challenge me. But this idea of a dating site for Bronies? I-I don't think would look good on a resume, or even to my parents O.o plus I'm 17 years old lol. I wouldn't be aloud on my own site! (Not my site, but you get the picture.) Though This project does seem tempting, because I have a Microsoft visual web development kit and I've tempered with HTML before, but seem to of completely forgot it. I could learn that too though, because I plan on making games for multi-player more than single-player.

 

Darn it. If you think me old enough, even though I'm 17 years old. Add me to Skype and we will decided there.

Well technically it isn't a "dating" site Chat mingle, it's more like skype or omegle, anyways, yes I figured the site would be in C++ or C# but that is still in the air.  As for parents, that's up to you man ^^ I sent you a request, if we get more people I'll start an official chat.
