writing Awaiting my own demise

If I could

I would allow myself to disappear among my shadows

If only I could conjure a thought worth striving for

 

And, if I could

I would belittle my existence

Dwindling as though I were nothing

 

All too soon

These lonely thoughts consume

Leaving me just as I was

A shell of a shell

 

As fate would have

I feel this mourning

A pouring sensation of my heart

And I am without help
