Crack Shipping

What does everypony think of crack shipping? 

 

I just read them for the lolz most of the time, I don't expect them to be great or anything. 

 

Crack shipping is where you'd ship two characters whom are not even from the same universe nor is it likely that they would even ever get together in the first place. Say Twilight Sparkle and Zoidberg for example.

from the title i thought this was about something totally different. So if i am understanding this correctly Rainbow dash and Jake the dog from adventure time would be an example of crack shipping. well i for one think that it would make for a laughable yet interesting read. In fact, you have inspired a Fan fic for me.

I support shipping Pinkie Pie with Crack, and Rainbow Dash with methamphetamine, Fluttershy with with Xanax and Vinyl Scratch with PCP.

Crack Shipping is borderline Rule 34 in my opinion. I don't support crack shipping at all, think it's a slightly perverted thing to do by two fandoms, but that's just my opinion. The people who are into it aren't bad, it's just really, any shipping I have problems with, and I don't know why :S

I think a better match-up for Twilight Sparkle would be Yomiko Readman. (I don't mean in a cloppy way, either!) Since Twilight already loves books and can do magic, I bet Yomiko would have no trouble teaching her paper magic!

 

If you want to really have a weird crack-ship, how about Princess Celestia and Lazarus Long, aka Woodrow Wilson Smith. As fellow immortals, they could face each other as equals. If you've read Heinlein's "Number of the Beast", you'll know that Lazarus actually could meet Celestia. Characters in that book actually went to Oz, and received help from Glinda the Good, in fighting the aliens trying to destroy them! According to "World as Myth", Brony belief in Equestria is strong enough to make it accessible to the Burroughs continua device!

 

A little know secret is Luna's long standing unrequited love for Neil Armstrong. They met only once, all too briefly, but Luna lost her heart to that brave explorer using only the fragile technology he carried with him to do the job of magic in keeping him alive on the face of the moon.

 

(Have I just strayed too far into the weird?)
