Shooting star (OC) after a hard day of work :(

Well this is my OC shooting star sleeping in her cozy bed, hope you like it
As usual I don't think it's that great but again, I hope you all like it fellow bronies

As for what I used
A mouse only
And paint tool sai

And please tell me what to improve or what you think about it

Thank you a lot for the comment since this drawing had none replies and no views for a long time it kind of scared me and

didn't really know what to think of it

hey looks good. by the way i see you have a deviant art account have you tried muro yet. that is what i learned on and i liked it a lot.

 

ok time for some hints you can just skip the rest of this post if you want

 

   first off it looks good i want you to know that but the main thing i think is wrong is shooting star is not quite connected to the background . try to think of how hair moves on a pillow and adding that to it will help show she is touching it. also you should be able to see the outline of the body through the blanket.

    last the shading is ok but you should know that shading makes or brakes a pic. for me i spend nearly as much time shading as i do coloring. one other thing is it looks like you shaded the body but not the hair, blanket or pillow. shading needs to be everywhere there is light.

 

now that that is over good luck and keep working. art is something you can do for you whole life and you will never get tired of it

Its really adorable! also its a lot better than most OCs, it doesn't have like 50 different things on it nice job!

Thank you A LOT for the critique I just stared at it for hours... ok mayby that's a bit extreme but still I see now my biggest error in the pic and that is the shadow and mostly that she looks like she just floaths in her bed

There's something about this that is oddly calming, and I really like it. For a mouse only job, you did a very nice job as, especially from my experience with sai, painting with a mouse is the biggest pain in the ass.

I don't know why I haven't left a critique or anything yet, but since you were kind enough to leave me one I guess I'll post in here.

I don't know? I mean... I draw all my drawings on the computer with my beloved mouse and I really suck at drawing and paper and almost nobody believes that enjoy working with it
