Cadance: Pegasai clip on a special ring to their wings.  Earth ponies usually put their rings on their tails!  Sometimes they put them on in the middle of their tails so they cannot be seen.  (Feather Gem: -shrug-)

 

Celestia: Alicorns are very powerful.

Celestia: They are usually given higher statuses.  Such as Princess or Prince.  But not all princesses and princes are alicorns.  Sometimes, you are born an alicorn.  Other times, you are made into an alicorn by an extremely powerful alicorn, more powerful then myself, or by another magical force.

Luna: We call Equestria Earth as well.  It is sort of like the word planet for us.  Or the word land.  Such as the word Earth for you means both the name of your planet as well as...well, land I suppose.

Cadance: And besides.  Its much easier to say Earth Pony rather then Equestria Pony.
