eventually Dashie couldn't help but burst into laughter. "look at us! we're as red as tomatoes!" she composed herself again. "and if you thought that was sexy then just you wait!" she said clearly messing with him.

Firebolt quietly flew up and began hovering, as to not wake him. She quickly darted down the tunnel to see if there was an exit around. The walls didn't look very familiar, so she landed, and quietly walked back to where Thunder was, looking cautiously around.

Thunder woke up to see Firebolt standing nearby, observing the area. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and got up.

 

"Alright, that's as much sleep as I need. Are we going to get back to moving out of the cave again now, or do you want to get some more sleep or something first."

Firebolt walked up to him. "Yea, we should." She began walking in the opposite direction, the direction they came from, before stifling a yawn, and asking Thunder "You coming?" She tapped her hoof impatiently, before turning away and walking on again, slowly.

Gears eased up a bit and smiled weakly. He laughed a little, with a bit of a worried tone.

"Heh, yeah. Funny. You're honestly making me blush a lot in the past day alone."

Then he heard the last part, completely unsure of whether she was kidding or serious.

"I'm sure you'll do something much sexier later.", he laughed.

Dashie eventually stopped laughing "yeah..." She fell silent for a moment. "so. What do you want to do? Go hiking? explore the dangers of the forest? Here's something. Somewhere off in that direction..." she pointed off behind her. "there's a cave with a dragon in it. And a BUCK load of gems.How about we try and get one?"

*really? That's being a little too adventurous, even for you.*

Gears looked down and thought about it. As he did, he tied on his scarf. On one hoof, he could prove to Electro that he was brave and might even get the crystals he needed. On the other, he could die in a fiery cave. He finally decided and looked at Electro.

"Okay, I'm up for it."

 Dashie gave him a look of concern "really? Are you sure about this i mean, this is pushing things even for me. You don't have to do this. Frankly I'm a little scared you could get hurt, or worse."

He smiled a little and gave her a small kiss.

"I'll be fine, I've survived worse... I'm frankly more worried about you than me. Stay close to me, okay?"

He put his hoof around her and smiled.

"Now please, lead the way, beautiful. That is, if you still want to. I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do."

Thunder nodded.

 

"Uh, yeah, right. Of course, lead the way."

 

Thunder followed close behind her. 

 

"So are we getting close to the exit? The others are probably starting to get prettied worried about us by now. We should hurry up and get there as soon as we can, right?"

Dashie pushed him away jokingly.

"hey! I can handle myself out there!" she shifted as close as she could. "but I'll stay close if it makes you feel any better." To be honest she enjoyed it when he tried to protect her. It was cute.

"alright big guy." she began walking in the direction of the cave.

He galloped after her. He finally caught up to her and wrapped his hoof around her.

"Slow down, it's like you WANT to get eaten.", he said jokingly.

"And I guess I am a little scared. Lets stay close to each other so both of us are safe, yes?"

He got a little closer to her. Like Rhonda, he was a bit clingy.

"Yea. I suppose." She said quickly, though she probably needed to convince herself of that as well. Firebolt sped up her pace to a trot, while looking at the walls, they were slowly getting more familiar the farther they went. "It's definetly over this way."

Gears smiled. He moved a bit farther, not wanting to crowd her. Soon, they arrived to the mouth of the cave, and they could see a small, faint glittering from further down.

"This looks like the place. Are you ready? Because I'm ready. I'm ready for anything- well not anything but... You know."

Thunder continued to walk alongside her, and tried to think of something they could talk about.

 

"Alright, good. So... yeah, I guess going in this cave was pretty much just a huge waste of time wasn't it? Oh well, it could have been worse, at least we didn't get lost or anything."

Gears frowned a bit.

He snuck down, on his tippie-hooves until he made it down, he snuck behind a rock a looked over.

Gears shivered in fear. His eyes were big, and his pupils small.

"I-I can't r-really see anything. I... I get really out of tune when I'm afraid. I might scream at any moment. Feel free to slap me if I do."

dashie hugged him. "it's ok, We'll do this together." She held him as close as she could. "w-we can back out whenever if you want." she slowly, but surly began to move into the cave, as quietly as she could. And making sure that Gears was still there. This was pushing things. It was probably better if they just left.

Rhonda walked up behind Splinter, and soon saw Gears. His hoof turned into a megaphone, and he brought it up to his muzzle.
