Throw me a rope here! A spirit that can't survive on it's own and needs a host? nightmare moon... a bit more than a thousand years ago. we got into a depression. in that depression we formed alot of sadness and jelousy towards our sister. during that time we wanted to lose the feelings we developed. so after some studies and hard work we created a spell that would take care of that... it went wrong. terribally wrong, instead of making the feelings disapear they just got hidden. the feelings where build up without us knowing. so when all the emotions finaly got to much, they broke the spell. that day, nightmare moon was born. we remember it as the day of yesterday. it was a horrible day. we faught our sister and tried to make equiestria fall into permanent darkness. so that the beuty of the night could finaly be apreciated. our sister used the elements of harmony to banish us to the moon for a thousand years. on the day we got back, we faught twilight sparkle and her friends weilding the elements of harmony. we lost. and the feelings, also known as nightmare moon. were gone. we dont know where they are now or if they just dissapeared. it might suprise you how little we know about the elements of harmony. it is a weapon we only use when in great need. so now you know what nightmare moon is, and what she is now. it was us all along... us in a thousand years of depression. 1 Inspired by myself.
