This will be under the form of a 1v1. Which means that you will not normally talk to other players and instead will interact solely with NPCs and the GM. Of course everyone will have an impact on the world, in one way or another.

This system does need to be prepared though, so anyone interested will have to talk with me so as to create ( or adapt an existing ) character for this roleplay ( See the special rules ).


The setting is a land similar to Equestria without the elements of Harmony, so there is no Deus Ex Machina in any way.

It will have violence. Although I don't plan on being excessive about that.

Magic exists, but is toned down to a point where one cannot use it to create enormous magical structures ( short distance teleportation, light levitation and other spells are fine though). This also applies to Pegasi. Their job is to keep the weather under control and it has a no tolerance approach since you cannot fix a storm that easily.

So this land, which we will call Heim, is no easy place to live.

( It is pretty much Equestria with a slight Human World touch. Chances are if it exists in our world it does there as well. Electric Appliances are an exception though, as well as fireweapons. )



The rules in this Roleplay are simple:

• Try not to Metagame. If you see someone else's post where he found, after long hours of thinking, that there was a hidden door, do not just walk up and 'try' to open it by coincidence... If you do that, I will have to punish your Character in some way.

 

• Take the initiative. You have to think of this RP more of a personal Roleplay to your Character. It is a way for you to explore a setting and story and for the GM to tell a dynamic story.

 

• Be descriptive of what you do. If you explicit the thoughts of your character it not only creates a nice Atmosphere but also allows you to see any flaws in what you might try to do.

A few warnings though:

I am not a nice GM, but I try my best to be fair. This mostly just means that you shouldn't jump into a pit of molten lava and hope to get away unscathed.

Not all your actions will succeed. I will use your status/surroundings/skills and a dice roll into consideration when deciding whether one of your actions have the intended effect or not. You will never have to worry about that though as I will do all of that on my side.

Since the story isn't meant to be told in advance I won't reveal it here, you can however speculate. ( For those knowing about my previous Roleplays, it will be quite different. )

Looks very interesting. I can defiantly say it has me quite intrigued though I do admit I was a bit skeptical of the idea at first as it's one I'm uncommon with. I'd very much be able to join this RP as my OC, Daylight if it would be possible.

• If you have any questions I will freely give you any information your character knows, sees and hears.

It is to talk about possible character adjustments so as that everyone is balanced. Also if you have any questions concerning information and similar it is easier to do that in real time.

Could we use a medium other than Skype? I don't know of any text function for it. Couldn't we just use PMs?
