Bright spark felt a little fearful as the dragon flew by but took a few deep breaths to calm himself down. "Alright here is what I suggest." He looked up at the throat of tge world. "OK. I say that we go around The mountain and stop at Ivrastead. There we check up on supplies and get more if we need to before we go straight on to Riften." He pulled out his axe and murmurd to himself. "And hope by the divines we make it out ok."

Autumn's ear twitched when she heard a dragon, then she heard the voices of ponies.

"What do you suppose..."  Autumn whispered to Snowy.

she sneaked through the woods towards the voices.

Autumn froze when she caught a glimpse of the ponies standing in the road.

"why twitch my tail and call me crazy! ponies!" Autumn said as she jumped out of the bush she was hiding in.

Bright Spark was'nt really paying much attion to what was going on involving autumn until she decided to assult his shoulders in what he supposed was some sort of impressive act. "Ok. That's one way of making an entrance. And I thought the dancers were straight to the point. Cause she was on top of me see?" He never laughed at any of his midly amusing content. He was one of "those" kind of ponies. " so why have you decided to join our conversation then? Perhaps you heard of the dragon and want to pitch in."

Striker was a little bit surprised about the new pony who had just jumped on Bright Sparks back, but then became calm again and smiled along with her. "Why hello madam what be your name? i'm just learning everyones names today aren't i?" Striker said pleased, Striker got the cart and put his stuff in it, Pushing the now dead Colt off (has died of diphtheria... Yay trail way! Just ignore colt at this point...) motioning to the cart Striker said "anyone else want to put there stuff here?" Striker got under the carts straps and readied himself for the journey, "What are we all waiting for!? this is a chance of a lifetime! to fight a dragon! We can talk on the way!"

Autumn's smile died down a bit.

"I've been living on my own since Riften was attacked. I heard the voices of ponies and couldn't help but see what was going on over here." Autumn said, flicking her tail back and forth and adjusting her saddle bag.

"Now... I want to know... who are you ponies and why are you heading to Riften? there's nothing left out there..." Autumn said with a very puzzled look plastered across her face.

Bright Spark groaned. *Great. She even sounds as goid as she looks. I hate distractions.*

"Well. First off I live - err, lived there and was very trustworthy. The jarl herself sent a note during the attack to kill the dragon. So, i got this guy." he pointed to Rambler, "because he seems like a good warrior and this one," he pointed to flame "to sacrifice when the time comes!" He began to walk "let's just get this over with..."

"Okay... so, this particular dragon... does it have a name? I'm just wondering... I've heard tell-tale that there are some dragons can be reasoned with... just like any other animal..." Autumn murmured, following Bright Spark.

"Is it alright for me to join your company of ponies... i don't have anypony else left..." she added quickly.

Striker looked at Bright, "You forgot about me!" Striker said in a silly manner, pulling the cart along, looking back to autumn Striker smiled and said "I am Striker, Ex-assassin, and thief of well... it use to be Whiterun." Striker smirked at bright, "but i have finally left to pursue better things... as for you." Striker said looking back to Autumn, "it would seem as though you have a very nice pet, a White fox by the looks? very rare, where ever did you find it?"

"Oh? Snowy? I don't know... it was sort of strange... i was just muttering as i was walking through the woods about five days ago, it just ran up to me like it was my best friend... I don't have the slightest idea why." Autumn said with a giggle.

"Oh! I almost forgot! my Name is Autumn.I live or well... lived in Autumnshade Clearing just outside of Riften." She said as she adjusted her saddle bag again.

Striker said pointing to the cart he was pulling, "So have any special traits? like do you ame swords? or create new types of plants?" Striker was interested in this new pony, there was something different but familiar to him.

Snowy nudged Autumn trying to cheer her up."

She shook her head to clear her thoughts.

"I can walk, but do you mind carrying my saddle bag in that cart of yours?" Autumn asked.

"Why of course not!" Striker said with a grin, "no cutie mark then ay? not a problem, thats just makes you more special! you can have any talent you want! me on the other hand." Striker looked at his Cutie Mark, and frowned, a sword and shield, "I didn't get this mark for any good reasons let just say that!" Striker then seemed to hurry his pase, not really wanting to talk anymore, he was sad again, but the sadness came from a lifetime of pain.

Flame laughed at the word 'Sacrifice' "If you think you can actually just leave me as bait for the dragon...you have another thing coming." He said blankly, following Spark and preparing a spell. His hooves slowly became encased in ice, but Flame just kept walking like nothing had happened.

Fiera slipped on her studded leather armour and took a quick look around. She was preparing to leave Ivarstead and head for Riften. Sure, maybe she was a bit under prepared to go to such a city, but she wasn't under skilled in any way. She had trained for many years the art of Hand to Hand combat, she even knew how to immobilise and opponent in two hits... which lasted one second. But one second is enough to do a lot of things.

(I just spent about 10 minutes writing about Fiera buying a horse... when she is a horse -_- I'm an idiot. 1000 characters gone)

 

The journey shouldn't take too long, but there might be things along the way that could slow her down. Such as possible highway ponies, or those smelly necromancers. Fiera started off on the road towards Riften.

Autumn went from a quick trot to a flutter.

"i didn't mean to offend him..." Autumn muttered under her breath.

Snowy looked up at Autumn and flicked it's tail in Autumn's face playfully.

Autumn smiled and brushed the fox's tail away from her face.

Autumn landed in Striker's cart.

"ummm... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to offend you..." She barely squeaked out.

Snowy glared up at her for being such a wuss.

"What?!" Striker seemed a bit surprised, "Oh! no, no, no! you didn't offend me!" Striker said with a small chuckle and a smile, "no i was just remembering some bad time's! But i'm over it now!" Striker said in a full grin, yet his eye's told more then his words could hide, because Striker's eyes were just like that. "So it's just you and Snowy then? No one else?" Striker was again curious, he seemed to know more then he was putting on, alas his eyes didn't say anything, not when he wanted them not too.

Snowy climbed off of Autumn's shoulders and into the cart.

"yeah... nopony else." Autumn said, fluttering into the air and flipping upside down in front of striker.

She looked kind of funny, her back hooves in the air and her long hair, falling down, obstructing Striker's view of the road.

"Well neither do i!" Striker said happily blowing Autumns hair out of the way, he looked at autumn and chuckled, looking behind him Striker saw snowy in the cart, "come here Snowy!" Striker said in a sweet voice, Snowy then climbed up Strikers head and sat down on him half blocking his eyes with a paw, "well it looks like both of you like to blind people!" Striker said luaghing, bending his head up slightly the white fox slid down Strikers neck and plopped back down into the cart, "So..." Striker said happily, "were both Pegasus's, we both are alone and we both are special somehow!" Striker said happily to Autumn.

Autumn laughed at her little white fox.

"Wow, she's taking a liking to you." Autumn said, flipping back over and landing next to Striker.

"Yeah, it's like were that same pony somehow." Autumn said giggling.

It was strange, all these new ponies she had met made her feel like for once in her life, she had friends.

Almost as if Striker could read her mind he said "Well you don't have to worry anymore, you at least have me for a friend thats for sure!" Striker said a big grin on his face, "if you need help with anything at all you can come to me." Striker then got out a few of his special arrows and showed it to Autumn, "if you want you can have some of my special fire arrows! just don't touch the tip or else you'll light on fire!" Striker said half serious and the other happy, "I make them myself, they are dipped in a special potion called dragons blood that i craft from hand. Shouting at Bright Striker said " Oh ya Bright you still haven't given me my jar of dragon blood back! it hard stuff to make you know!?" Striker then looked back at Autumn "so want some?"

Autumn frowned.

"uhhh... i... uhhh... maybe some other time?" Autumn said, shuttering at the thought of fire.

She had a deep fear of fire, it went all the way back to when she was just a filly.

Autumn shook thee thought from her her mind and flashed Striker a reassuring smile.

Striker put the arrows away realizing something was wrong, but did not persist with it, instead he took out a small wooden flute from one of his pockets and started to play a small song. Striker had heard this song before, but it was from such a long time ago he did not remember from where he heard it. It was said that if the song was played in complete silence of others you would hear the tree's talk, but on this day no tree dared to speak a word.

Autumn landed back in the cart next to Snowy and listened closely to the song. It sounded familiar to her, and soon enough, she was quietly humming along.

Snowy spotted a rabbit in the and quickly darted after it, jumping out of the cart and into a bush.

"Snowy! get back here!" Autumn called from the cart.

"Don't make me use my scary voice." Autumn threatened, a stern look plastered to her face.

Bright Spark groaned "Can you stop chatting eacother up and focus? I mean Come ON! Look at you two! You just wont shut up and i'm getting a headache!" he groaned again and continued wallking. "Im not waiting anymore for you so if you die it will save me time.

Flame trotted up next to Spark and looked him in the eye. "I am assuming that what you said about a sacrifice was a joke." He said, bluntly. *Because if not, I am going to have to burn your mane off...and your tail.* He thought, kicking a large stick off the rocky path.
