Which is better?

Hm, I really wanna play some Paper Mario games. I have all 3.....well there is 4 now counting the one on 3DS, but that doesn't seem as good as the last 3. Well I have 1, 2, and 3.

 

Which is better in your opinion?

 

Paper Mario 64?

 

 

 

Paper Mario: TTYD?

 

 

 

Or Super Paper Mario on the Wii??

 

 

 

I like them all really, but I would have to choose the first one is the best in my opinion. Why you ask? Because the map was bigger, the game was long, and the story was great, even though it was the original Mario saves peach from Bowser. I just liked it and the difficulty was harder which caused the game to be a little longer. Hahah

I've played the original Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door.  I think Thousand Year Door was an overall better experience with less annoying parts, and surprisingly had a part which made me tear up.  But they're both good and fairly similar games.

I think Paper Mario is better. I've played a lot of Mario games, but I heard that Paper Mario was really a good mario game on N64.

Really made, the console great game-wise.

I've played the original Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door.  I think Thousand Year Door was an overall better experience with less annoying parts, and surprisingly had a part which made me tear up.  But they're both good and fairly similar games.

 

The story in TTYD was awesome too and made me have some teary parts. Like when Admiral Bobbery, Mario's bob-omb partner got that letter from his wife saying that she was like...dying or sick or something and how she said that she loved him dearly and will always be in his heart. I was like "awwww". Or in that Glitzville level where that...toad girl secretary had that brother who she didn't know what happened to and finally reunited with him. I kind of got teary

I've only played the original, so I can't really pass any judgement.

It was a great, if short game. The only annoying thing was the never ending firework display at the end (I left my Wii on all night).

Oh yeah, that part too, I was kind of weeping xD It really teared me up too. Like, I have honestly never had a Mario game do that to me. That's probably why I like the paper Mario series is because it has a story, not just Mario saving peach, hooyah, lets go home. They actually have meanings

It's kind of tied between TTYD and SPP.

 

TTYD: Good Story/Great Gameplay

I'd probably have to with The Thousand Year Door though. It's the most nostalgic, fun, and the only Paper Mario game I've actually beaten.
