Im gonna go outnon a lomb here and say that 30 percent of minecrafters are bronies. I just thinks its funny is it beacause we are all children at heart? Haha I just see bronies more preavalent in minecraft than anywere else ( besides here obviously) why do you think that is

Well, first because minecraft is fun. And really doesn't get boring with the variety of maps, servers, and mods.

And second, I wouldn't say 30%, maybe 20%

So 20% of minecrafters are cooler B)

And third, there is no third, I just feel like putting three reasons :P

Where did you get that 30% statistic? People in general play minecraft. It seems like that's what most people I know do. I literally don't know anyone under the age of 30 who hasn't played Minecraft. (Except babies.) I'm sure they exist, I'm just saying that Minecraft has gotten ridiculously popular. (Also, I don't know many people, being an introvert, so my not knowing any non-minecrafters thing isn't too meaningful.)

Minecraft is a very popular game to almost everyone, don't be so surprised that a lot of bronies play it as well. There are millions of bronies in the fandom, and even more fans of minecraft, plus a lot of bronies are really creative with art and have their own special talent. I used to play a lot of minecraft I even became a brony xP

Is this a documented fact? Anyway you can verify this for me?

I don't know how many people actively play Minecraft, but I doubt it'd be 30%.

This one is a tad less creepy. Wouldn't you agree?

Lol I only play the free version of the Pocket Edition, which isn't really Minecraft. I don't want to buy the game, and I'm to lazy to torrent it, so I just play it on my phone. I guess you could say I play Minecraft, and therefore contribute to that statistic, but I don't think I do.

Thanks for going outnon a lomb and making your claim. It's probably just because Minecraft is a fun game that attracts the open minded and creative, something the brony community is not short on.

Its more or less just the fact that there are so many people in the fandom and there is also alot of people who play Minecraft, so it also happens to be that alot of people belong to both groups.

I dunno if theres any direct association with it, Minecrafts just a cool game, and MLP is a cool show :). So its no surprise alot of people watch and play awesome things :).

autism Jokes.

I mean, what self-respecting brony wouldn't want to build an exact replica of Ponyville/all of Equestria in a video game? It gives them the capability.

And yeah, the same question could be asked about games like TF2 (when I played it was hard to find a server without a pony avatar in it somewhere), among others.
