I know for me it's posting on my blog sharing my thougths with my friends and family. I also take part in multiple communities to meet new people. Shanks 10,816 February 19, 2013 Share February 19, 2013 Alot of different ways, I make youtube videos most of them political in nature though I also address my experiences as an individual with Autism in some of them and am trying to make some more of those in part to get myself out there to help my future career as an author and of course to help people with Autism and their families. And I've never really wanted to use Youtube I mean I use it for videos but that's about it. I have it, I was diagnosed at age 2 after I lost what little language I had (I gained it back at age 5) and started exhibiting severe behavioral problems and hypersensitivity to sound. After years of therapies, interventions and gradual mainstreaming into regular ed and society in general I graduated high school in 2004 with a 3.8 GPA, attended some courses at my local community college and have successfully held down a job and got a promotion for 5 years. Unfortunately that usually led people to judge me before they even got a chance to know me. I used to make jewelry too. But I mostly put down what im thinking on paper. I have so many ideas for movie script's i just write them all down before i forget them. Like at school, I dress how I want to dress, I wear my make up how I want it, I speak my mind, I am not afraid to state my opinion and im not afraid to be who I am. I used to be hidden and close in because I was always shy and got picked on a lot and had minor depression. Now, Im like loud as heck and I just don't give a crap anymore. Back then, I never was loud. I was always embarrassed and shy about myself. I had a few friends and I wasn't the "coolest". I still am not the "coolest" but came to realize that its my life and I just don't care anymore. People can hate me for me, or like me for me. But, I express myself of being myself and not closed in and isolated from the others. No, I don't like fame and attention, but I still am loud and I can be pretty bitchy at school. I learned not to tolerate people. I don't take their crap no more. I just be me and that's how it is. So that is how..I express myself..is just being ME and not some fake or shy girl. Although I usually do it through clothing (Like wearing Sawneek shirts and hats). That's pretty much it.
