Nicole Oliver's Birthday Present with Princess Celestia

You may or may not know that Nicole Olivers birthday is on 22nd February. So i wanted to make something for the art gathering that Equestriadaily is having:  Link.

So i of course wanted to contribute too the art gathering and her it is: Link.

It's Nicoles OC and Princess Celestia.. It's far from perfect, her cutie mark is a little wrong. Also her mane has wrong colours. The background is also nothing special.. But still, i liked it, so i decided to contribute it.

Princess Celestia is looking at her own voice.

It somehow looked interesting seeing them two together.

the proportions are right and there are no big mistakes i can see.. good job

some things you could change/add:

- the horns are a little bit too long i guess

- draw the borderlines with a strong pen to give it some contrast

- some small little details dont suit, im sure you already know as you said so

Thank you, i used to use a pen to do the contrast, but i stopped doing so, because i couldn't undo it.. But maybe i should start using it again. Also the horns might be to long, i didn't draw them using references, i just sort of put a horn on them, not really noticing how long it was.. Since Celestia does have a long horn. The small details aren't too good, because, like Nicoles cutie mark, the smiley face and the stripes in her mane.. Are the details i did wrong.. This drawing isn't really my finest work, since im still not used to drawing the princesses.. But im practicing. It's good to get criticism that leads you to the right direction.. Although i often criticise my own work before i put it out.. So it's often something i have already noticed.. But thank you.

 

Btw, cant wait to see your edition of it.

It tis' indeed a very good picture. Plus it has the best pony in it, so there is that. Anyways, nice work on it! I like it quite a bit, indeed.

No problem im busy myself.. So i understand.. Besides, you don't need to edit it unless you want to do so. So if you want to, then you can take all the time you need.
