gaming PS4 announced

From what I've seen, I haven't been too impressed by the graphics. Perhaps the Nintendo fans were right, this generation won't see such a large gap. Still doesn't change the fact that the Wii U is being neglected massively by third party developers, though.

 

Anyway, despite the fact that I really liked my PS2 (honestly, it probably got more playtime than my Wii did), I see no reason to get a PS4 at this point. I never have had much of a reason to get a PS3, either. The games just aren't interesting. I'm not into FPS's, alien games, war games, and especially not zombie games.

I was up until 2 in the morning (UK) watching the IGN Livesream

 

As you probably can tell, i am a massive playstation fan, I've already preordered mine for £20

 

il probably get Drive Club, Killzone, watchdogs and maybe infamous 

 

But definitely Drive club as my favourite genre is racing!

I have never had a gaming console if you don't count

 

this fella, so I am not really hyped about PS4 (Hay, I don't even have Tv to connect it to).

If somepony managed to hack it down, I'd probably change my mind though.

 

This being said, I am super hyped out about WatchPoniesdogs game. (I luv the word watchdog-it's a funny word. By the way, it was first used by Shakespeare.)

The hardware for this console is amazing, yet we need something more, games.

Watch Dogs is a multi-plat so it doesn't count.

Deep down looked boring as fuck, yeah graphics were impressive but the gameplay looked boring, and people say that this puts Skyrim to death, oh please.

Support for indie games is cool but 90% of indie games are all the same.

Social interaction? No thanks, that's a pathetic addition.

And we have one more from Sony ripping off Nintendo, PSVita used as a controller, perfect.

I have nothing against the new controller except the share button, it's like the console it's more social-focused instead of game-focused.

Let's just wait until Microsoft gets something good against this, i hope so.

PS4 looks sexy as a console but I dunno if I trust the way it's doing Backwards Compatibility.

That's the only thing that's ever concerned me is that the more consoles are more like PCs the more social aspects are thrown in. When will they realize that all people want is high-end games and the social aspect only serves a certain (admittedly very large) demographic of people who don't actually use consoles for what they are meant to be used for: to play all of the games they possibly can before the console goes kaput.
