As the last of the group ran into the room, Diamond slammed and locked the door and not a moment to soon. The zombies had just broken through the doors and were making their way down to the basement Diamond walked over to the large hole in the ground and gulped. "Ok...i'll go first." She said, climbing down and looking into the pipe. "No pony happens to have a flashlight do they ?" She asked.

Shade looks around... Then her hooves get surrounded with a thin layer of fire, but they quickly went out, "sorry, but I don't have the energy to keep a fire around me lite" she said... "Anypony eltse have something to try?" She asked...

 

Shade was way too tired to do anything, it felt like walking was even painful for her to do.

Nightfall tried to make some light by his horn. He had heard of spells to do that, and had used a few before. But with his injuries, it wouldn't last long before he ran out of energy.

"I- I can light the way for a little bit... It won't be long, but it should be long enough..."

"Oh my glob... there are like xy of unicorns and noone can do the light spell?"

She sighed, but for now, she had other thoughts to be worried about.

"What will happen to Slimy if he touches the water... The consistence of his body will change.. he will be more of a slime.. what if he melts..." she got tears in her eyes. "Like a dust in the summer rain..."

"And also Raindrop.. I'll try to hold her above the water, but still..."

Arcane sighed. "Fine, I'll light the way..." he said and took little effort to conjure three or four light balls. "I'll carry one, anypony else who wants one can take one. Probably best to spread them amongst us though" he said and let the light balls hang in mid air for anypony to take and took one for himself.

"GO!" Slide screamed. "I'll stay behind with Arrow and fend them off for as long as I can," he said, reloading the handgun. "Butplease, hurry." He said, looking at the towering zomponies above them. He quickly looed back at Light. "Good luck."

"Thank you Arcane. Nightfall, don't tire yourself. I know you want to help but we don't need you fainting on us." She said, nuzzling him and moving down the pipe ahead of the group.

Nightfall stopped his light spell, and moved next to Diamond, leaning against her.

"You're right, Diamond. But what I need more of is rest... I hope we can find a place to rest soon... Though I don't wanna whine too much..."

Shade walked through the tunnel, she looks around and only sees black, even with the light, she did have her night vision power, but didnt want to waist energy, she was struggling to stay on 4 hooves after having stayed up almost all night, "so where are we headed? Do we have a plan?" She asked.

Coco didn't say anything, just got one of the light balls herself. She was getting more and more unpatient.. This all took way too long. She got into the pipe as soon as possible. Slimy was following her.

"Then don't do it." she said silently, hearing the Nightfall's words about whining. All the events around her made her tongue sour.

"Slimy, please... watch for the ponies behind us. I will do the same, but .. more eyes see more.." she whispered to him. She knew that every moment had the price of gold in this moment and looking after Raindrop and Slimy, she might overlook a smallest detail that might mean the end.

The pipe was making her insecure.

Rambler followed the others into the pipe. He didn't take one of the balls of light, instead deciding it was better to have the light-bearers spread out amongst the group.

(OOC: I was actually considering having some ponies be enhanced...or something. If that was the case...I would kinda want in on it...and Diamond isn't that good at Magic anyway so I may just say for this RP she was a pegasus...or something. But I think I am just going to stick with the immunity thing. So Yes, that's fine.)

 

 

Diamond felt something wet move up to her legs and she cursed under her breath. "Looks like we're getting close to the river...try not to slip everypony." She said, moving through the water which was almost at her knee (I hope that's what it would be called on a pony)

(Okay, so how should we determine who's immune, then? It would make sense if Nightfall was, even if he allegedly wasn't scratched or bitten before. I can roll dice or flip coins for each player to determine it if you want. That's what I'd do if I were in charge.)

Nightfall started shying away from Coco, towards Diamond. But he misstepped, and slipped, barely catching himself. He was lying down, but lying in one place. A few of his cuts had reopened, but other than that, he was fine. He got to his feet slowly, wincing.

Diamond gasped and quickly helped Nightfall back onto his hooves. "Oh buck, Nightfall are you alright ?" She asked, looking at his wounds. "I will have to fix those up as soon as possible we should try to move a bit quicker...I don't want those monsters getting into the pipe before we reach the end." She looked down the pipe and was rather surprised to see that they still hadn't reached the end...the water was also beginning to get deeper.

Slide saw everypony go in, and he quickly ran in after everypony. "Okay. The zomponies seem to know we're down here, but the barrier should hold them off just long enough to let us reach the river. Also, they may or may not know about us going through the pipe. If they don't know, that will also buy us some time. I can stay in the back and keep guard again, if you want," he said out in the open, not quite sure who was in charge.

Nightfall shrunk down. At least one pony was going to have a fit about this. He looked around, noticing that there were a few unicorns, him, and Diamond. He opened his mouth to suggest that the magic producing ponies make bubbles to breath under water in, but he couldn't make magic well...

"We will get you cleaned up as soon as we reach the...end." They turned a small bend in the pipe and then...the top of the pipe slowly moved into the water. Diamonds eyes widened. "Buck." She said, looking at where the water met the ceiling of the pipe. "Its flooded...the sn-snow melting." She said, her lip quivering slightly.

Lila stepped up to Diamond. "Here, let me try." She said with a simi-confidence that this would work. She concentrated on the water and it began to slowly separate creating a path for them to walk through. "Alright, lets go. I should be able to hold this for a while."

Coco hesitated for a second. She didn't like that water at all. She didn't mind it herself, but what could happen to Slimy..?

The path in the water made her eyes bright.

"Slimy, hurry up." she said silently. She could feel that Raindrop on her back was now rather relaxed... she had been shaking in her mood to fight before.. It used to keep Coco nervous before - she didn't want her to jump off and run away.

She started trotting and Slimy followed her. He still didn't know what is all this business about, but he knew that he needed to stay with her, no matter what. She knew the best.

Diamond grabbed Coco and Slimy by the scruff of their necks before they could make it that far into the water, as the whole thing caved  in on itself. "Be careful Lila...water is hard to control." She said. Then, several loud groan's could be heard from farther down the pipe. "Oh...buck...We gotta swim through guys...its not that far, Everypony hold onto somepony elses hoof." She said, wading into the water a little ways.

Nightfall reached out, trying to grab Diamond's hoof. His biggest worry was that he would have to hold Coco's hoof, but he tried not to think about that. He eventually grabbed a hoof, not knowing whether or not it belonged to Coco or his own marefriend.

Rambler was an excellent swimmer thanks to his years of working as a sailor, and he wasn't hesitant at all to dive into the water.

 

"Alright, I'm a strong swimmer, so I'll take the lead. Nightfall is injured so I'll pull him along with me if he can't swim on his own."

Diamond hesitated for a moment. "I...You're right you're right...take a deep breath and swim straight that way...the end of the tunnel is not far at all." She said, she reached to the pony closest to her who happened to be Coco. "Slimy, take hold of Coco's hoof. both of you, Take a deep breath." She said, leading them into the water. The zombies growl's got louder and louder as the zombies got closer and closer.
