private The War on PACE: after the war (SoL)

Hank smiles "you all better give me cover." He smiles as he got in his spot and watches them all as he holds his sonic screwdriver and put the key around his neck on a necklace. he waits for the singal as he seems excited to go back to the blue. box.

Nighshade hastily took out a cartridge from his box. He tore the paper, poured the powder down, and rammed down the bullet. He then brought it forward and placed a tiny percussion cap on the nipple of the rifle. "Right," He said with a smile "Let's do this". 

 

He placed the musket on the ground and reached for his canteen. He took off the cork and put the top to his mouth, only to get a few drops. He had filled it up a few hours ago, and it still felt heavy. The water must have froze inside. "Well, that's just great!" He said with a sarcastic tone.

"Alright, you know the plan guys, let's roll. We'll cover you Hank, and if this all goes sideways, It's been an honor to serve with all of you." Cezary said into the passenger compartment.

"Final equipment checks you guys... we're here... and here comes the truck." He stated as he pulled a detonator out of his pocket..

"It's time to rock and roll."

Hank watches them all closely as he watches the truck. Once the explosion happens he runs to the blue box as all the PACE members started to open fire at Hank. Hank got closer to the blue box as he presses his key and it sounds like he unlocked a car door and the blue box's door opens. Once Hank got in it closes and some soilders gun at the blue box, it is getting torn up holes appearing. Hank tosses his key to his friend as the blue box turns on and it vanishes. Once Hank tossed the key he got shot on his side.

JT was at City hall, he looked in the direction the ambush went. he prayed for his friends and wished them to be successful. His heart stopped immiedetly after he saw the explosion. all he did was wait for a radio call to mark either a victory or a defeat.

"Bloody hell!" Nighshade shouted. He quickly discharged his musket, not waiting to see if it hit anyting and ran for Hank. "Cezary, covering fire!" He managed to get a grip on Hank and lifted him onto his back. He than rank back as fast as he could. He dropped Hank down. "Medevac?" He asked Cezary.

Grabbing his radio, he shouted into it "JT! We got the box, but we're getting hammered down here, permission to use more powerful ammunition?!"

"Confirmed... I've been saving something for this moment!" Cezary said with an almost child-like glee.

Loading explosive rounds into his rifle, he killed the last of the PACE soldiers.

"Cut the radio jammers, I have a message for them." He said into his headset. "jammer disable confirmed, go ahead and speak." Said a voice that no one but him could hear.

"Who the hell is this? For god's sake man? What the hell happened?"

"Welcome to Equestria, gentlemen. Enjoy your stay." He said with a burning sarcasm.

Jt smiled, "good job men, I will have Hard cider and Whiskey waiting for the Celebration!" then he turned to rocket, who was now smiling even more.

He saw one.

 

He focused his rifle, and fired. He could tell it hit him, for the man jerked and than was still. "Might as well fire it once" He sad outloud. He than jogged to catch back up with Cezary. This evening had turned out better than expected.

The blue box appears outside the room JT is in. Hank's friend, Jack, ran out of the blue box carrying Hank "hey! sir, where is the medical room?" he looks around examining everything . "infact no time." he set Hank on the table as he started to remove the bullets and used his sonic screwdriver making sure his heart is still beating and sighs "he is in a coma.."

He saw one.

 

He focused his rifle, and fired. He could tell it hit him, for the man jerked and than was still. "Might as well fire it once" He sad outloud. He than jogged to catch back up with Cezary. This evening had turned out better than expected.

"Good on you brother, war is not a place of misery, but instead a place of mercy. You showed that when you put that man out of his pain. You want to run past your camp before or after I'm almost too drunk to drive an APC?" He said, his mood brightening significantly.

"Well lad...my CO probably can't get more pissed than he is now, so....I guess I could go for a few drinks". He flung the spent cap off of the rifle's nipple and then lowered the hammer down completely. "Save more for me next time will ya?" He said in a joking manner. "Lead the way".

"Alright JT, we're on the way... got any vodka handy? I hate the taste of whiskey... but I'm drinking to get drunk, so if you don't that's ok. By the way, Hank's inbound with a couple of wounded, and I've got my own to watch out for, so keep the medical tent open..." Cezary said, looking forward to a victory party for once.

"No, only a bottle of a brandy. If you do find any bottles of whiskey, than give 'em to us. That think will pass around the company street like a comet hah!" He slung the musket on his shoulder. "Wounded eh? Lovely" He said in a sarcastic tone. "Oh, and by the way. I wanna know,  when are we gonna get a meetin set up 'tween JT and my Lieutenant? He's eager to fight the frey" He said with a chuckle

rocket answers the radio call from the Squad, "yes, please hurry, hank is down, they are working on him right now!"

 

JT looks, "shit.... will he be able to get out of the coma? I need him for this war, he has been the biggest help!" JT Cleaned some of the wounds and bandaged them.

"I've got just the thing for dealing with comas!" Cezary shouted as the squad pulled up into the command tent.

"Just give him this... it's an experimental nanobot serum... I kinda stole it, but I didn't expect it to come in handy..." He shouted as he ran into the command tent.

Jack kept the screwdriver pointing at Hank "there is a risk.. one is the nanobots, and the second is the blue box, if we open the heart of the blue box, than it might be able to heal Hank.. but if it doesn't... than Hank dies.. lets try the nanobots.. i could use my sonic screwdriver to speed up the process, also thank you all for helping me.. it means a lot."

"Let's do it then... and please, for the love of god, don't hit it with the screwdriver, It could do some serious damage... this is experimental tech I'm working with here. I just hope the people I got this from don't decide to repo it now... though if they try I'll just give them a good damn talking to." Cezary said, jabbing the syringe into Hank's unconscious form.

Nightshade begins to unsling is musket, but realizes he isn't going to pose any danger. "So...whats with the getup lad? Is it undercover or something I should be concerned about? He turned his attention back to Hank "Thank god he's not awake for the bloody thing" he whispered.

"Uh... JT... you may want to see this..." Cezary said, suddenly nervous, backing away a bit. "Did I just entrust experimental tech in a friend of a PACE officer?" Said the more rational part of his brain.

"Sir, incoming comms on the hacked PACE frequency." said the disembodied voice.

"Not now LIDEA, record it, and tell me if anything important comes over." He said into his headset

"Ok... just don't do anything stupid, that guy may be PACE."

"I know... I just hope he isn't."

JT came in and saw the uniform, he immediately had his P90 in hand and said, "you better have a damn good explination wearing a PACE uniform in mine and my brothers Sanctuary!"

 

Rocket ran up with his modified gun, "I don't like PACE, so you better choose your next words very carefully!"

Jack sighs and raises his hands up "im a member of PACE, it was being a member or having them get in the blue box.. so i became one of them..  Shoot me, arrest me, put me in prison, i dont care, but i am a close friend of Hank's and just think what happens if i get hurt." he smiles
