I have returned. Shower me with applause and praise, for my announcement that I have returned to an internet forum is one with no equal. Roll out the red carpet, for your King has returned. It's a joke about people announcing such things and expecting a massive party or something.

 

I'd stopped posting a lot before I'd left because I felt like I had nothing to say. But I was actually thinking about it earlier, and that wasn't really the case. I guess in reality, I had things to say, but I was afraid I'd make somebody mad, like the situation which frustrated me enough that it was part of why I left.

 

So I'm stamping that out right now. Thinking about it, I have no objection being that guy on the forum who speaks what's on his mind and occasionally gets a small mob annoyed at him. I'm used to it by now anyways from my previous years of internet-ing. If I've got something to say on a matter, I'll say it, even if I am the minority. Be it about sensitive matters like that side of the fandom or not.

 

And no, this doesn't mean I'm going to go around being a bad person and trying to piss people off. Just thought I should add that.

 

So, expect to see me around the forums I guess. If anybody even remembers me. Roop has returned.

And so continues the legacy of people here misreading my name as KKK. It began way back when I joined, with Jonke misreading my name as KKK and my welcome thread title as "Another typical welcome threat".

lol, the alicorn Twilight thing. I could write a wall of text about that. But here's what I'd say, condensed: Twilight Sparkle is still Twilight Sparkle. She has a pair of wings. That's it. The whole notion of wings + horn = instantimmortalgoddesswhatever is a fandom thing, not a canon one.

Well the show implies the "instantimmortalgoddesswhatever" thing with Celestia and Luna. But I agree character wise she should be more or less the same but now she has a bigger responsibility. This gives us a perfect chance to see crazy Twilight again, I could see her cracking under the pressure.
