I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this thread, but I thought this would be fun.

 

Do you have any ideas for your own cartoons? It doesn't matter if you're a cartoonist or not. (I'm not). If you have any interesting ideas, feel free to talk about them here.

 

My idea:

I haven't come up with a title for this one, but the basic plot would be about a girl named Lilly (i haven't thought about her age yet) who lives in a fantasy-ish universe (similar to Equestria or The Land Of Ooo) and she is friends with this world's god. (I haven't come up with a name for this god yet.) She goes on adventures, while taking the god's advice to heart. However, as the series progresses, she slowly learns that this God is not the all-loving god who he claims to be, and has to deal with the consequences of what this god has influenced her to do.

I'm not to good with Original Ideas but I have to say in terms of them, really wish Nickolodeon would have picked this up.

 

Anyway if I did have to come up with my own idea I've always imagined something involiving Dinosaurs and time travel.

Nothing to concrete, but it would focus more on epic action sequences with Dinosaurs. imagine the Spartans fighting on top on Trex's etc.

i have alot of ideas but they are best suited as cartoons for adult swim due to the uncouth nature. The few cartoons i have come up with are like this:

 

The setting would be a desolate plain. the characters would be western people...so basically a cartoon about the west. though as the show progresses they would find out that they are the product of a deity who likes to torture the will and sanity of the people. They also realize that their ultimate goal is to beat the deity at his own game

I've come up with several ideas, but most of thsm are really convoluted and would take forever to explain and it's just not worth the timd. I'll try to simplify one if them.

 

It would be an action series, set in the faaar future. Like, 800-900 years into the future. Earth is pratically covered in electronic devices. Technology has taken over EVERYTHING. No one walks anymore, they teleport via different terminals. The police force and the army have been technologically improved. However, some of them grow dissastified, and with the assistance of some citizens of other planets (All planets before the asteroid belt have been civilized, btw) they go on a revolt against Earth.

 

Wow, that wasn't simple at all.
