ColtofPersonality 855 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 (edited) There's a pit in my stomach whenever I see or read about her. It sits near the middle of my pecks and it hurts alot. I'm trying to be optimistic for the future ahead. However even if I do stop watching my friends here on the forum are what matters most to me and I won't walk away from them. I'll just not watch anymore simple as that. Edited March 4, 2013 by GolgoXIII Look in my eyes...what do you see? The ColtOf Personality.

What do you mean a pit in your stomach? Like a worry or something of that sort. I got that before this whole Twilcorn thing, but everytime I read something about it I get excited. And just my personal advice don't quit the show. Season 4 will be awesome, Daniel Ingram, and Megan McCarthy already said so. But if you choose to do that, I'll still count you as one of my briny brethren. Thanks and bro hoof /) This fantastic signature is made my by awesome friend Rainbow Skywalker! cuteycindyhoney 13,307 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 while I agree with you about the many possibilities that Alicorn Twilight will bring, I disagree with little girls out numbering bronies. Without bronies, this show would get maybe a million, a million and a half tops. But now it's getting alot more then that. Bronies are by far more vocal than the intended audience demographic. That doesn't mean there are more of them. Think of the toys. Most of them are shunned by Bronies, and openly mocked. Yet, they're flying off of the shelves. I bet for every one Brony buying a Hasbro pony toy, there are several hundred parents buying that same toy for a child. Thank you Sparklefan1234!!! PoniesPlease 365 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 I know this topic has been done before, but I just wanted to know. I won't, I think the show evolving so early is a good sign for what is to come. So, will you guys quite being bronies, and do you think this fandom is dying? Thanks, and bro hoof. /) (P.S. I'm not one of those dramatic bronies who freak out at every little change. Just wanted to know your guys' input on this.) There shouldn't be that much of a problem with Alicorn Twilight. She's been on our screens for 3 minutes, and obviously has had no time for any development in that brief time. To leave the fandom over that would be very... petty, I think. My point is that I find it more an act of attention seeking rather than genuine concern over one character getting wings. No, I will not leave a fandom as great as this because one character got wings for three minutes. If she goes on a murderous rampage and kills all of her friends, only to be stopped by spike, who becomes an Alicorn-Dragon hybrid, maybe then I'll have some question marks. I still wouldn't leave the fandom though.

I'm pretty sure that little girls will not understand this. Little girls don't have to understand the origin of the name to like the toy. A Yahoo bot named him, and it stuck. Steven Magnet is actually a cool name for a serpent if you ask me! That sounds like an extremly horrid fanfiction. And as I recall it was only three minutes. I'm praying that when part 3 shows up, Twilight wakes up from a coma and it was all a dream. Thanks and bro hoof /) That would be extremely lazy writing if you ask me! Why would they reverse things anyway. The message then would be "Twilight is a failure. She wasn't good enough." Thank you Sparklefan1234!!! More so the feeling of 'Why? What does this accomplish besides hurting your loyal fans who made the show what is is' In a way this change was too soon and more suited to a start of summer kinda ordeal..even if the 3 minutes I saw her were short I wasn't ready to see the change happen so quick. I mean I like the idea I just wasn't ready to see it so soon. Edited March 4, 2013 by GolgoXIII Look in my eyes...what do you see? The ColtOf Personality. Harmonic Revelations 8,835 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 Whether or not I leave depends almost entirely on whether people stop making this exact topic literally five or six a times a day. Serious, it's a bit ridiculous.
Scootalove 10,689 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 There is no point in leaving just because of one ridiculous thing. The only time I would leave is, if Hasbro does something stupid. But right now, I'm not going anywhere for a long long time. Besides, the Best in the World © does not give up. ColtofPersonality 855 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 (edited) A finale would have given me some closure atleast. A pre-mature one albeit but I know it couldn't be possibly be ruined anymore then it has. What's worrisome to me is the fact we don't know how bad its gonna be potentially! I mean Lauren Faust [Who stepped down from the show..which should if at all being the warning shot something bad was coming] is a genius and knows her fans like the back of her hand! Look at the Power Puff Girls, Fosters Home For The Imaginary Friends all successful cartoons she helped develop for TV with her husband..She could careless if the show made any money shes just happy making cartoons! But I agree, if you mean "something stupid" in the sense that they start adding characters until we have a mane 20, or if Discord becomes an Alicorn. Betez 1,734 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 Hell no. This is not a big deal at all. It certainly isn't something worth leavin the Brony fandom over. I am still a Brony, and a pro-Twilicorn. Loriem 639 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 No way in hay would I leave the fandom just because of another big debate. I am neutral on the subject, but even though all of us a**wipe over reacting pieces of doodle are making big fuss, I will stick around. This debate will make it harder to convince non bronies that we actually "love and tolerate". As we all already know that is a lie. I am more of the "ignore and isolate" kind. Veronica The Miffvixen 232 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 The moment any shipping pair becomes COMPLETELY canon as a relationship, that's where I get off this bus. No sooner, no later. Twinhead B 482 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 Nope. I'm waiting for Season 4 to air before I judge Alicorn Twilight. Even if I hate it, I doubt it'd impact the show enough to make me leave. I have a feeling I'm gonna be ponying on all the way to the series' end, no matter if it is finished or cancelled. hawkflame 3,310 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 No way. Much as I have a problem with Twilicorn, I'm seeing this whole thing through. Emerald Flame 381 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 I don't like the idea, but I'm not leaving. At the most, I'll switch over to the comic series, since Andy Price said it's likely that it will become it's own canon at some point.
Fluttermoon 192 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 Heck no! I will not stop being a brony/pegasister because of Twilight. I still like MLP no matter what. I'm much to attached to it to just throw my hands up and be like "lol nope" Even if I wasn't a fan of twilight becoming an alicorn, I'd still be a fan of it. I support Princess Twilight Sparkle. TBB Symphonia 39 March 4, 2013 Share March 4, 2013 Twilight isn't exactly my favorite pony out of the mane six, but her becoming a princess will not make me stay a brony. Being a brony is awesome, we have great music, comedy, fanfic, roleplay, cosplay, and a great show to back it up. We would be losing more then we would gain if someone stopped just because Twilight became a princess.
Buttonmash1973 1,026 March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 I am not going anywhere after Twilight Sparkle had become an alicorn. Back in the autumn where alicorn Twilight plushie had been shown I did not think it will cause an uproar later.
