writing Stars

[Pan the Fabulous Ferret 2,642]

On this night, all I wish to do is gave at the stars.

Oblivious to my surroundings, of every sight and sound.

Not even the piano which materialized from air steals my attention.

As I stare monotonously at these gems in the sky, I lose all sense of time.

 

Amongst these stars shines the moon of full light.

It shines bright enough to cast shadow, and give life to the scenery.

I stood, unmoving and uncaring, as my shadow detached itself from me.

It too stood to watch the stars, and then it slowly crept away.

Perhaps I should have noticed when my shadow began playing the phantom piano.

 

On this night, while I look into the stars, I know not what happens.

I only know that which I have seen.

That of a sky showering myself and the ground about me in a glorious glow.

Such beautiful stars in the brilliant night.
