I believe that life is little more than a play

We are all simply the workers and actors of theatre

Awaiting our calls and performing our roles with elegance

Either spending our days rehearsing and practicing

Or spending them performing those labours

And all the while, we stand at the mercy of the writer

We have no free will while we follow the lines that were given to us

And we are not our own when behaving as it is said to do by their words

We are puppets to the products of their imagination

I believe that life is little more than a play

We are merely slaves to the minds of those with power

Awaiting our roles to be decided by those with their own visions

Either spending our days aiding those who would keep us down

Or spending them performing their tasks

And all the while, our dreams are left to crumble

But what if the actor had a choice?

What if every person became their own writer?

Allowing each and every one of us a chance to live our dreams

And even to act them out together with those that they choose

With your own words at hand, and your dreams in front of you?

I have to ask, would you live a better life?
