What is something that has scarred you?

When Bush got Elected in 2000. And again when he got re-elected in 2004. Worst 8 years of my life <_<. Screwed all the great stuff that Clinton did up, and now our country can never bounce back.

Does anyone else have a fear of the dark?

Don't worry, I'm actually afraid of the dark too. I don't know- I just don't like not being able to see things. I always sleep with the lights at least somewhat on.

My appendectomy.

Seriously, I'm now scarred because the doctors stabbed me, removed my appendix, and then glued me back together...

When my brother fell off a climbing frame and got to the hospital when I was little.

Scaring by my brothers (grabbing in the dark, making noises...)

Scaring by my cousin

All the screamers

Some of the horrors I've seen

All the documentaries about giving birth I've seen.

Going home from a friend's house at night after we the played screamer game

Cableway over the mountains

When my parents weren't at home without saying a word and then I called them and they didn't reply

When my bro told me that if he wouldn't reply to the call he was dead and he actually didn't reply.

The night noises

The street noises

The bush noises

When someone follows me at night

When I hear the noises upstairs

When my brother sneaked behind me when I was brushing my teets and he put his arms up so I could see just those hands

When my mother got to the hospital and could die by any second

When my father&my brother got drunk on my grandmother's funeral

When my brother&my cousin's fiancé got drunk on my other grandmother's birthday

Pretty much everything.

@Nightfall,

Blame it on Nightfall.

The dark and mirrors scare me sometimes. But only when I start to imagine things, otherwise they're nothing more but shadows and mirrors. The trick that helped me is to start thinking that fears are just distorted reality and that's what they are, false thoughts transformed in a false fear.

Unfortunately, I suffer from Achluophobia, (fear of darkness).

Yes, it is childish, but I can't help it! sad.png

Ever since I was 6 and my sister scared me in my room, while the door was locked, curtains closed and lights off; I've been horrified by darkness.

I love how you signed that 'Luna', being that she's the princess of the night, and of darkness and all that. xD

I'm the opposite. I love the dark ._.

This exactly, except that for me, distorted things scare me too -.-. So I still have creepy thoughts about the mirrors. Especially when I don't look at them. I sometimes feel watched.

I also always had this other fear; that whenever I look towards the right side of my bed (as the left is against the wall) I'll see a face slowly creep up from the edge of my bed. I had a nightmare of it, so I still picture her face when I think about it. (I hate creepy children....)

Nothing scares me except for a few small things. For example, I cannot stand things coming inside of me. Get your mind out of the gutter, I mean needles and stuff like that.

I also am a bit afraid of just seeing the neck snap. Just seeing it in the position it is, twisting like a loaf of french bread, just... egh.

We'll care for your soul (with some possibilities not limited to burning scalding impalement soul destruction unnecessary hiccuping etc.)!

Your soul will rest next to a beautiful countryside (IF A SCALDING BURNING WASTELAND IS NOT COMFORTABLE THE COUNTRY SIDE ISN'T BEUATIFUL)!

Enjoy your afterlife (Ok that part's just a lie we tell to hook customers) !

My parents breaking up (It wan't a divorce, they never married) was an extremely traumatizing experience for me.
The year was 1999, I was five years old, and they'd been fighting physically and verbally for months on end without a break.
I often wondered why daddy had to sleep in a tent, in the backyard, and why mommy always left the house as soon as daddy came back from work.
I was too young to deal with what happened rationally, and it is my and several of my psychologists' firm belief that their break up, and my inability to handle it, were ultimately responsible for my various... psychological problems, or personality disorder, rather.

The jaws ride, Wrong turn movies, tight spaces, and crowded areas.

I'm referring to the Jaws ride at Orlando Studios. I was so terrified because the animatronic shark jumped onto the boat exactly where I was sitting. I was able to look into its mouth. I've been told I had a writers mind. I am a claustrophobe. I was once locked in an extremely cramped closet while at school. I got so freaked I turned several shades whiter and was quaking like an earthquake.

When I can't see an exit I tend to get jumpy.
