My Dedication to MLP Forums

      Even though I don't have as many days on the site as you, or as many posts where it counts I decided to make a dedication to the forums. It has been my favorite website for about seven months now and I really love this site. All of the cool people I have meet and got to get to know better in the RP section. I remember my first day back in August when Chaotic Discord welcomed me on my welcome post (I believe he was not a moderator back then). I hope to use my time on my computer more effectively and browse the forums more often.

 

 

      The actual building process of this "Desk Jockey" was not the most difficult thing but took a couple weeks to do. First I cut a board of wood in half (If I can remember I believe it is Chestnut) and used a nifty application called Carve Right that I planned where the images would go on the board, and where they would go on the green plastic on it (Sorry for run on sentence.)  I carve into the board and the glass with a router, sanded it down, and made an edge boarder. I then painted it, fixed up the extra paint and coated the wood in three coats of polyurethane (Probably butchered that spelling ) to make the wood shine. I also had to heat up the plastic to bend it and screw it into the wood with brass screws (I wanted to have a Feld0 picture on the plastic but it buggered up and I had to insert a stereotypical MLP muffin).

 

    Since I'm not that much of an artist this is all I can do for this website and I'm sorry if it's not perfect but I tried my best. I also might send it to a forum member. (Text may be hard to read, but it says #1 Brony Forum!)

Wow, that is incredible. It's really awesome that you'd put so much effort into a work of art dedicated to MLP Forums. Good job!

@@SCS Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it! It took quite a bit of time to do, but in the end I think that it was definitely worth doing

Nice job. Looks good! I may be pretty new, but I still think it's cool that you work on this stuff for the forum. Shows your large amount of dedication!
