when ponies wear nothing is it the equvalant to like a t shirt?

so i was just thinking about this. think about most of the time the ponies wear nothing but when they go out ot are being fancy they are wearing stuffs. so is wearing nothing just kinda like casual clothes. but to that point if they wear something are they automatically being fancy..OR am i over anylizing a show for children?

Well they are simply naked except of course they have a coat (I think that's what you call it). They only dress when they go out or on some special occasion. So being naked is simply natural for them I wouldn't call it like wearing a t-shirt.

 

Naked: everyday life (except Rarity who usually wears something new daily)

Dressed: special occasion/event/holiday/etc.

Well when they wear something that usually means its for something formal not, because that's the proper thing to do (I think). Also you might be looking into a bit too deep, but there is nothing wrong with critical thinking.
