It's not really a creepy pasta, it's more of a creepy fic. Does it still count? It's called The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing, and just because I adored Animal Crossing as a child, it was all the more unsettling. (Warning: very explicit) http://lparchive.org/Animal-Crossing/

Additionally, the story of Ted the Caver (Floyd's Tomb) is equally scary. I read it late at night, and THOROUGHLY regretted it. It's pretty long, but absolutely chilling. http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Ted_the_Caver

Go read that creepypasta. It was 2spooky4me back then when I was like 15 or 14.

The pasta is not creepy, the image is, though.

I know what you mean the story was okay but that picture gets you but I think one of my favorite creepypastas is the "Russian sleep experiment"

Just finished reading the Animal Crossing one, and wow, must have taken a lot of effort to do all that. I'm kinda confused by the ending though,

explaining the box. When did that take place? When did he start crossing?

I really enjoyed it, though. It's the first creepypasta I ever read all of. I loved this: http://lparchive.org/Animal-Crossing/Update%206/10-Part6_05.jpg

In late 2011, a user named 1000Vultures on Reddit's r/NoSleep section posted a 6-part Creepypasta about disturbed childhood/teenage/young adult years. It was definitely scary, unsettling and amazingly told. Not only is it scary, it's got alot of other emotions mixed into it: sadness, regret, loneliness, a little bit of happiness. I It became so popular that the author (real name Dathan Auerbach) turned it into a 240 page horror novel called "Penpal" and apparently there's a movie deal in the works. That's my choice for best creepypasta.

The creepypasta wiki is so much win. Last year I spent entire nights just looking up stories on that site. There are also a few channels on YouTube of people who read creepypasta stories. A lot of them do a pretty good job freaking people out.

My favorite creepypastas will always be the ones concerning Slenderman. I'm addicted to the web series MarbleHornets, EverymanHYBRID and TribeTwelve and apparently there might be a Slenderman movie in the making. Here's the trailer I found on YouTube:

It looks like they've added  something new to Slendy -- claws!

I want to join!

My favorites are the following:

1. Cupcakes

2. The cough

3.Jeff the Killer (part 1 and 2)

4. Happy Appy

5. Lost Episode of the Simpsons

6. Squidward's Suicide

All horribly creepy, but one one of those people who love that feeling!

My favorite pastas are those that I could honestly see happening in real life...my least favorite ones are the really over-the-top ones involving excess blood and gore and monsters (though there are a couple of those that are well-written). In particular, I really love listening to MrCreepyPasta's YouTube readings while I'm at work. He has a terrific voice that always seems to convey just the right emotions.

Here are my favorite ones that he's read:

(technically a novel, not creepypasta, but chilling as all hell)

And from another prominent reader, CreepsMcPasta,

is another favorite.
