Well I said I was going to get a digital drawing tablet and I finally did. It's gonna take a little getting use to not looking at my hand when drawing. I know it's kinda crappy, but tell me what you think of my first attempt at this.

Huh, I thought that you've already done digital drawings before. Anyways, tablets are great for drawing. SAI has a great tablet stabilizer for varying degrees of stability. Sketching digitally is also much easier with a tablet. Great for a first tablet drawing! Keep on doing it and it'll become more natural.

Wow, I can't believe you like it! Thank you so much. I just got my wacom bamboo today. I'm use to doing traditonal drawing so this was kind weird. I could do one of your oc but I only  have the trial version of the program right now and it puts watermarks on it that I can't take off. If you still want me to I can give it a shot.

No. The only "digital art I've done is vectors, and I do that with a mouse. I have SAI but I couldn't get it to follow the touch commands for stuff like zooming and scrolling.

Just search up WindWaker on the character database, and you can find a picture of him. I would like him to hold up a sword. (The Master Sword from Legend of Zelda.)

I've been drawing the old fashioned way for 20+ years. Usually when I get really into a drawing I take my glasses off and practically press my nose to the paper. I can't really do that on the computer,

 

Anyway, great work! You might want to try the trial of Open Canvas as well. It's the only program that felt like actual drawing to me. It responds beautifully and you can grab the "paper" and turn it whichever way you want for comfort/drawing the tricky parts. Zooming in and out is smooth, and it doesn't put water marks on the picture. It's what I do my sketches in before I vector something.

To give you a little critique, their bodies are kinda too long and their legs are short. Try shortening their bodies and making their legs a little longer~! On your side views, their snouts shouldn't be out so far, so their face could be a little flatter (that last part probably doesn't make too much sense ^^; ). Of course, this is all if you're going for the show's style. If it's your own style, then I don't know what you're going for so I can't really say how close or not you are. But it's good so far, for the show's style anyway! Just a bit more practice will help!

 

And you might want to consider cropping your drawings so there's not so much empty space. And do you know about selecting and rotating in Sai? To tilt Bab's head up you could have just rotated it up and then fixed the neck a little.

My OC is dark Red, not brown. It is one of the most overused color schemes in an OC. But, hey, it got the perfect score! So, yeah. I might want people to add a background though. XD

Thank you for your critique. As for the way they look I think it's mostly due to my inexperiance with the tablet. I used Art Rage for this one. I'd like to use SAI but it won't work with the touch commands for my tablet.

Well your right, I have to say no. But not because it's a shipping pic. Simply because I know I can't draw that and make it look ANY good.
