Based off of the cancelled, but amazing comic by cat4lyst.
 
This takes place a handful of decades after the saga known as My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic. The mane 6 are around 40 years old.
 
Story:
THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED IN THE COMICS.
Northern Lights, after breaking the sound barrier and performing the legendary Sonic Thunder, creating a huge fissure. After investigating the surrounding area at a picnic, Sweet Potato, Fluttershy and Big Mac's daughter, finds a plant that tastes like evil. After throwing it into the Ghastly Gorge, it reappears. Desperate, she tells Glimmer, one of her best friends, but she dosen't believe her. They go into a party, but something is strangely amiss...
 
...something like a mismatched being that got turned to stone thirty years ago...
 
Oh, and maybe that evil plant that's in the party and is invading the food.

A deadly creature who is the opposite of Discord.Was concealed the main star in the constellation the Lyre after attempting to destroy the world, when she was cursed by Discord, who seeked a worthy foe. Only seeks destruction, and was concealed in a star by Discord, who realized he had just created an unstoppable monster.

Is reading the comic required to join? I don't really want to look throughout that tumblr, it's not really organized. ( Or at least it isn't apparent. )

 

And how will it pan out? Do we pick the OC we wish to play as? Do you pick for us? How far is the story set into stone?

You don't need to read it. I summarized it up in the story.

 

And you can pick which OC you want.

 

Anyway, I decided the party is going to be invaded by plants. The eevvviillll plants. Then we'll go on a quest, secretly, of corse, we don't want to let the mane 6 know. We'll get in huge trouble, because we're obly teenagers and we can't save the world.

 

We'll eventually find Discord and beat his butt, but then the other villains will pop up and we need to beat their butts too.

Well then I wouldn't mind joining if you can assure me that what ever the story requires, you can't just run trough and /do/ stuff. You have to think, which is what I find the most fun in Roleplaying. So if that is assured I wouldn't mind playing as Apple Bourbon! What kind of character does he have though?

I'll ensure Discord has a lot of traps planned for us...that you'll need to think to get through.

 

Apple Bourbon is very creative and bright. Like Applejack, he's blunt and very hard-working. He dislikes Lightning Dust and Comet Stroke because of how athletic they are. He's like an engineer. Unlike Applejack, he's very bright and loves mathematics. He loves all of his brothers and sisters, and is very hostile toward Comet Stroke because she is a pegasus and he isn't.

 

He is always a bit slow on the uptake.

True. You can advance their personalities, as I doubt that this roleplay will go far if you play as an already made character and their personalities do not develop.
