It's rather gruesome, and safe to say, in order to replace one's heart, you would literally have to tear out the patient's lungs and ribs, and when you're done, you don't even suture anything back into place.

I switched out using laptops for a desktop, on which I spent about 1000 dollars on in total. Prior to that was my Windows 8 laptop, and even before that was the Potato:

 

 

Prior to its death, it had a spaztastic hard drive, a flickery screen, a broken left shift key, and a spacebar with dried-up soda under it, and probably a crapton of dust. And it constantly heated up. Like, a lot. This is why it had attached to it a second monitor and a second keyboard.

 

EDIT: Should I say it...? Ganaram uses inefficiency!!! It's not very effective...

i have completed Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga at least over 10 times, perhaps, on my GBA SP at the school i went to before, and i don't regret it one bit.

I technically still use HP, but that's my Windows 8 machine that I seldom use now. My current build: ASUS for motherboard, Galaxy for the video card, and AMD for the processor. At least that's the important stuff to me.

Better instruments indeed.  But, I can't even hear the kick.  Like, at all.  Plus, that cymbal clash on every 2nd is really bothering me.

that's a limitation of the drumkit i'm using. it's got a really low bass kick. nothing i can really do about that unless i get another drumkit. and i personally like the cymbal clashes, so i don't think i'm gonna remove them.

wouldn't that affect all the instruments in the drumkit? it's all a single drumkit, since it's one packaged inside a soundfont.

Oh, that's right.  I forgot you were doing it in MIDI.  Well, you could some really precise EQing, and you'd have to know exactly what you're doing with each move, but you could probably do a little bit of EQing.  Just boost the punch of the kick and that's it.  If it's a decent drumkit, the highs, lows, and mids should be pretty clean.
