I meant like did he plan on taking whatever he bought back to wherever he got them from. I know some do that since they won't be used anymore or at least until the next year.

About keeping them somewhere I meant if he kept them after halloween then you could easily fetch them at a later time when you felt would be more appropriate to ask for them instead of doing it right away if you felt it would be a bad time to do so.

 

I know you wanted to ask to keep them. and I was saying play it safe by not doing so right now cause you said you had a fear of it being the straw that will brake the camels back. In other words, it could be the catalyst to causing things to "spiral out of control" as you said yourself.

That part I didn't think about. I was going for the whole, it would be a better time to tell him about the whole deal with the diapers, but as you said that is a more private thing. :x

 

I don't see any excuse that could work at all, really. It would be odd to ask to keep them for whatever reason no matter what. Could just make up some bullshit, but if seen with them for whatever activity you want them for that would just make an even more awkward situation and have the questioning along with it. Double whammy.
