When Luna Opal decided to spam gifs and Royal Canterlot decided to join in on the spam of .gifs. Then when they decided to spam gifs to reach the 1000th page as well as the 20000th post. Me, Dreamwalker, and scootabloom weren't too happy with that. At all. Then a little from when Akimbrony didn't want to use spoilers for images and Dreamwalker kept trying to get him to see that way.

Things were going normal and stuff, but then everything changed when the Gif Nation attacked! It kinda spiraled out of control a bit after that.... Feelings were hurt, people might look at each other a little differently, and I tried to help make it better. You know, forum drama or whatever.

 

When Luna Opal decided to spam gifs and Royal Canterlot decided to join in on the spam of .gifs. Then when they decided to spam gifs to reach the 1000th page as well as the 20000th post. Me, Dreamwalker, and scootabloom weren't too happy with that. At all. Meh, I guess. It really depends on who is looking at it, though. For someone like Dreamwalker who has been in here for so long and awaiting something like that, I can easily see why he would be the most pissed. It annoyed me cause its like an achievement from Xbox or something similar. And yes, I can be an achievement whore ^^. Something that actually takes time to get, but is totally worth it in the end. But when you cheat that one achievement you feel like shit afterwards (True story).

Well, spamming gifs is not chatting either.

And I know its not about reaching a certain milestone, but since it is still there in a sense, it still gives a sense of accomplishment and whatnot when reached regardless of the actual point of whatever it is you're doing. Meh, thats just me, though. I'm a gamer and a partial achievement whore on Xbox so it only makes sense for me to be on the annoyed side. But I do see what you mean on how it isn't that big of a deal. It really isn't.
