Your camp sounds way better than mine. Last camp I went to all that happened was that I got swarmed by mosquitoes and didn't shower for a week. I don't think I changed clothes the whole time either. It kind of sucked.

Last time I went camping, I was in weebalos or something. I got hit in the solarplexis by accident and cried. I think I was 10 at the time. I 'unno.

 

But they at least had archery, axe throwing, and candlemaking. I was surprisingly good at axe throwing for my age, and I think it carried over to medieval fair they have over here, because I managed to beat my old man at axe throwing. He whooped me at archery though, apparently it was his thing as a kid.

While we're sharing camping stories, the last time I went camping was uneventful.

I did wage a one hour war on a yellow jacket that intruded on my house yesterday, which with the help of a spider, I won. And since wasps and other stinging insects are my biggest phobia ever, this was an accomplishment.

 

But I will be going on a backpacking trip this weekend, so that should be fun.

Gives me an excuse to wear combat boots, sleep in a hammock and carry around a ka-bar. It's gong to be fun

Duuuuude, I totally have phobias of wasps too. They're pretty much the jerks of the insect kingdom. :/ But they eat other insects so I guess they're cool. Until they sting you.

Due to my making some very poor choices, I have been denied access to the internet for, as far as I am aware, the coming month.

This means I will not be able to come online and contribute to the roleplay until this time has ended.

It pains me to say this, but if you must, write my character out, and move on without me.

I wish you all luck in continuing the story, and look forward to see what you come up with in my absence.

Of course, that's assuming he's willing to do so. Which he probably is, but it doesn't seem fair to dump that responsibility on him without making sure he's okay with it.

So a few days ago a lightning storm caused a power surge and killed my desktop. I won't have Internet access at home for awhile. I'll only be able to post from wherever I go to do my class work. I don't expect it to really interfere with this particular roleplay that much. This is just a heads up.

Seeker - Background Griffon

Years of living in hiding have left you an expert in sneaking. Your enemies (and friends...and wildlife...and everything) have a harder time finding you now.

 

Alizarin Dawn - Mare Killer

Smooth words and a pretty face can get you far. The fillies can't seem to keep their hooves off of you, and you now get a bonus to all speech-related skill checks with them.

 

Malik - Foal at Heart

Everypony needs love in the Wasteland -- even those that only come up to your knees. You now get a bonus to all skill checks involving foals.

 

Silver Heart - Motherly Instinct

Just as the Wasteland needs mercenaries, so too does it need caring ponies. You get a small bonus to all skill checks that aren't aggressive in nature or goal (such as breaking into a raider's hut or punching a griffon in the face).

 

Guardian Angel - I Do What I Want

Bitches don't belong in the Wasteland, and you let them know exactly how you feel. You get a bonus to skill checks when confronting authority figures.

 

Raptor - 360-degree Eyes

Like anyone can hope to sneak up on you -- even that other sneaky griffon! You now have a bonus to notice sneaking and hidden enemies in a small radius around you.

Malik's is possibly the most fitting yet useless possible, given his low charisma and no skill pecentage in speech. I could probably use it for persuasion dialogue, though, so it might work.

Not gonna sugarcoat it: this RP is dead, man. The other RP isn't fairing so hot either. In unrelated news, I suck.   

Higurashi suggested that we take the surviving members of both groups and combine them into a "new" group, since both teams are basically heading in the same direction anyway. What's anyone who survives from this group think about that plan?

I'd have to say that idea is a good plan. Although, I'm pretty sure I don't count as a surviving member. Anyway I apologize for my part in letting this die off too.

Hey guys. Yeah...so, uh...

I don't have time for this anymore. Senior year is already terrible, and running one (let alone TWO) skill-intensive roleplays won't work out for me. If someone wants to take over and do whatever with it, they are more than welcome. Sorry to disappoint anyone who even remembers that this RP exists.  -_-

 

Regardless, I had a fun romp. Maybe if I have more time in the future we can try again with a more solid beginning.
