Draco is still in a trance. It'll take the combined effort of the two mares to help him realize that he is wanted. It'll be like one of those anime scenes where in the mind he'll hear the two mares crying for him to come back.

No, when he was in Appaloosa he began writing down and categorizing the secrets and magic he had learned in his time there. Diamond's magic was obviously among those. I meant it as Acheron's way of saying, "I don't care," plus a minor reference to the Black Books from Apocrypha.
