Righteous Fury 344 April 12, 2013 Share April 12, 2013 I would say: "That's kind of creepy actually, you should see a professional about those feelings. I don't mean to be rude, but there is something wrong in your brain and you should try and get it fixed." do you think that would go over well? Shanks 10,816 April 12, 2013 Share April 12, 2013 do you think that would go over well? It would solve the problem of them being romantically interested in you, but would likely create another problem by ruining any friendship you had with them. You could say that you are not comfortable with the whole different species thing as that has been explored in several fanfics and is of course a bit understandable why someone might be a bit reluctant due to that reason but for me personally that wouldn't be a factor at all. Mio Akiyama 145 April 12, 2013 Share April 12, 2013 If it was Vinyl Scratch or Rainbow Dash who confessed their feelings, hell I'd date either of the two. If it was anypony else, I'd say "I'm really sorry but I only like you as a friend. But you're still one of the most awesome ponies I know and I hope we can still be friends." Yeah, sometimes I reject people so softly they'd still hug me to death afterwards. Or I'd be all Death the Kid and be like "Awww, wait no. You're disgusting get away!" And pick them up and kick them as far as I can xD. Jk, I'd never do that. I love ponies too much to even touch them in a negative way.

duidamasterXD 9,627 April 13, 2013 Share April 13, 2013 (edited) It would be something along the lines of "I'm really sorry. I like you a lot, but my heart belongs to Rainbow Dash " and then I'd do my best to be consoling. Concord 1,982 April 13, 2013 Share April 13, 2013 Hello! _____________ Hah, I'm not even sure... Depends on the pony... But, the topic asks, what would I do to actually reject? Well, of course, I'd try to not hurt the feelings of the pony as much as I could, but I guess that would be inevitable... I guess, a simple sorry would have to do... Yeah, they're all fictional and sapient, but the problem is the anatomy. FiM ponies are quadrupedal, covered in fur, and the less said about hooves, the better. That's not even counting how most estimates have the poor things being no bigger than a beagle. It just wouldn't work. OT: Tell them the truth. Just not into ponies. Well, I for one aren't exactly sure where the division between 'romantic' and 'sexual' occurs. It's a complex problem, to say the least, and that's without extreme cultural differences. Most estimates I have seen the average adult pony have been around 4 feet tall which granted is a bit smaller than your average human but I am pretty sure is larger than a beagle. While I am sure there are some anatomical differences like having hooves instead of hands I don't think there should be too much of a problem when it is time to get down the business if you know what I mean. 1 Rarity Get's Cockroaches

Well if the height of the average adult pony differ from their real life counterparts then I think the same would be said for humans too if they were to exist in the reality in question. As far as the anatomical differences would be an issue unless you found yourself in an anthropomorphic reality. Not necessarily, while humans aren't in the Friendship is Magic universe there was a human main character in G1 MLP named Megan and going into the universe of talking ponies didn't really affect her height and the same can be said of the numerous humans in the various human in Equestria fics that I have read. If humans did shrink in size comparable to how much smaller ponies are there in comparison to our universe than yes indeed getting your freak on with them would be quite difficult or even impossible, but if humans remained the same size than though it may take some getting used to could be done.
