writing Fall, to rise again

What is the worth in a word?

A measurement of feeling inside these gestures of mine

The words that tell me I shouldn’t hold on

That I should just let go

Allow myself to fall…

 

Is this what these words keep telling me?

A misery combined with empathy of hearts

I simply do as they say, and fall

 

But I shall not let go

I will never be defeated

And while I’m falling, I will plan to rise again

 

All the more, I wait to hold life again
