private Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: The Path to Destiny

It was a bright, sunny day. If you asked, what her friends called a tiny ball of pure energy, she would say the sun was shining directly over Paradise. The small pokemon, Oddish, was bouncing around the area happily. The land that Paradise held was huge, but only a bit of it wasn't covered in uprooted trees and boulders that had come from landslides from the mountains around the area.

 

Nearby, there was a town. Not very large, but it was the kind of town where everyone knew each other. If there was an odd pokemon around, everyone would know very quickly. This town is called Ledge Town. This was of course due to the mountains that surrounded it, as well as Paradise. The town has a generic general shore, and a few other shops. Though, not much else.

 

One of the most... original personalities in the town was of course, Oddish. The pokemon was well known for being hyper, jolly, naive, and... hyper. Of course, she was also known for having a shack and a lot of land which she called Paradise. Not many of the towns pokemon knew what the purpose of the place was, but they generally didn't care either.

 

Oddish wasn't the only pokemon on Paradise, though. An Absol also lived there. His personality was basically the opposite of the Oddish. While she was hyper and generally liked everyone, he kept his distance from all the pokemon of the town, and was generally calm and collected.

 

Just as Oddish was ridiculously excited to meet her new arrivals, who may or may not exist, and may or may not be coming only in a few days, Absol sulked from a distance. Not entirely sure he wanted any other pokemon to make the place any louder, having to be with Oddish was stressing enough, and he couldn't handle another Oddish.

 

Oddish continued to bound around happily, looking from all directions to see if any pokemon were going to come from the mountains.

Eevee wasn't known for his bright Ideas. This was apparent as he entered Paradise sliding down one of the mountains on a large slab of rock. Upon seeing a large ramp-like protrusion ahead of him he uttered a single word. "RADICAL!"

 

Eevee landed a few feet away from Oddish and Absol. "OUTTA THE WAY DUDE!" He called out as he skidded towards them rapidly.

Riolu looked down at the town from his favorite tree "Hmm thats ledge town a paradise some say." He said calmly. Riolu was watching very closely at what was going on when he noticed a A few pokemon having an argument of sorts Riolu sighed "Well guess i better go down and see what the fuss is. Riolu hopped down from his tree and landed behind the group and said " Excuse me is there a problem here." He said camlly (i wonder if we can give them names or are we using the pokemon names)

Cyndaquil walked into Paradise quietly. Looking around he saw an Absol looming on a rock far away from what looked like a group of pokémon. They looked at each other, gave a slight sigh, and continued with their business. Cyndaquil decided to give himself the grand tour of his new area of residence. 

 

    "'Tis a quaint little place. Other than the group in the distance, it is quite quiet here, a perfect place for me." Cyndaquil said to himself. He enjoyed the area, peaceful...for the most part. As he neared the end of his tour he decided he may as well go and see what was going on.

Oddish didn't notice the sliding Eevee until it called out for her to move. Oddish took some time to realize it was to her the pokemon was calling to. That said, by the time she had realized, the Eevee was only a few centimeters ahead of her. When she was about to bound out of the way, she was caught by the Eevee, and thrown back. Though, she quickly bounded back up, then stopped moving for a bit, looking at the pokemon questionably.

 

 

 

Riolu looked down at the town from his favorite tree "Hmm thats ledge town a paradise some say." He said calmly. The four seemed to be arguing about the prices of the berries being sold in the shop. Of course, these berries were very rare around here, which was why the pricing was so high. 

 

At Riolu's question, the Bagon turned around and looked at him questionably. "What do you want?" He asked, very annoyed.

 

Cyndaquil walked into Paradise quietly. Looking around he saw an Absol looming on a rock far away from what looked like a group of pokémon. They looked at each other, gave a slight sigh, and continued with their business. Cyndaquil decided to give himself the grand tour of his new area of residence.

Riolu Kept his cool "Well i couldn't help but overhear your little squabble  and i was wondering if i could assist in remedying your argument.and come to a conclusion that is suitable for both parties" Riolu said calmly. He kept a straight face even when confronted with a very angry Bagon 

Pansage giggled. She had never heard any pokemon stand up for a random pokemon or get interfered in fights. "Mind your own business!" Bagon exclaimed, turning back around to Kecleon, who was trying to ignore the group at this point.

 

Chimecho looked around. "Hey. Who are you?" She asked, not having seen the Riolu before.

 

 

 

Eevee got up and rubbed his head with his paw. "That hurt dude, but it was still totally RADICAL!" He shouted before he ran up to Oddish with a huge smile on his face. "What other awesome things can we do here?" He asked excitedly as he hopped around in circles.

Oddish bounced around as well, seeing that the Eevee looked like he just wanted to have fun as well."Well... There's the mystery dungeons, ledge town annnnd..." Oddish stopped. Could this pokemon be here because of the request she sent out? "Ohmigosh! Are you here because of the letter?! Cos, if you are, then that's great! Maybe other pokemon came too!"

Pansage giggled. She had never heard any pokemon stand up for a random pokemon or get interfered in fights. "Mind your own business!" Bagon exclaimed, turning back around to Kecleon, who was trying to ignore the group at this point.

 

Chimecho looked around. "Hey. Who are you?" She asked, not having seen the Riolu before.

 

 

 

Oddish bounced around as well, seeing that the Eevee looked like he just wanted to have fun as well."Well... There's the mystery dungeons, ledge town annnnd..." Oddish stopped. Could this pokemon be here because of the request she sent out? "Ohmigosh! Are you here because of the letter?! Cos, if you are, then that's great! Maybe other pokemon came too!"

Riolu Bowed "My name is Riolu and it is quite an honor too meet you chimecho" Riolu said in a calm tone. "And as for you my friend  your kind isnt welcome here in these parts you disrupt the harmony of this forest so im going to have to ask you to please leave." Riolu said in a stern but calm voice

"Did you send out that letter? AWESOME! I don't even know what this adventure is but it sounds exiting!" He told Oddish then laughed loudly. "Let's go somewhere high up! I remember one time I jumped off a cliff and landed on the back of a Pidgeot, I flew around on his back for a while then he got near a lake and I did this awesome swan dive. Then I met things really cool bunch of Squirtles! IT WAS RADICAL!" He shouted.

Cyndaquil made it to what looked like a general store, where the group was arguing. He now saw that the group contained a Bagon, a Chimecho, and a Pansage, while a Riolu stood a bit away from the group. Pansage and Chimecho looked to be the nicer ones of the group, Bagon, however, looked incredibly tense and furious. His eyes staring down Riolu. 

 

 Not wanting to get completely involved just yet, Cyndaquil waited and watched a bit from outside the store. "I'll only step in if things get out of hand...no one knows me since I just arrived...'d rather not make a bad impression." He thought, assessing his situation. He didn't think he would need to get involved, but he wasn't sure. Things can always go from bad to worse in a second.

Porygon looked around at this "Ledge Town" it was rather....uninteresting. Just a few shops and and some Pokemon arguing. But that had become a come sight here lately, no matter where you went. Though this particular augment caught his attention. It seemed that a, rather foolish, Riolu was trying to break up the fight. "He really thinks he needs to get involved?" Porygon said to himself. "How illogical." he then went on his way ignoring everything else until he came up to what seemed to be a wasteland. "Interesting..." He said as he looked around, eventually seeing three Pokemon. A Oddish, and Eevee, and an Absol. Porygon could tell the Absol wasn't enjoying himself. In fact he looked quite annoyed by the other two Pokemon bouncing around and laughing. "Greetings I am known as Porygon. Tell me, are you aware of the Pokemon who sent this letter?" Porygon held up the letter Oddish had sent everyone. "I must know the location of the individual who sent this and the location of this so called paradise."

Riolu Bowed "My name is Riolu and it is quite an honor too meet you chimecho" Riolu said in a calm tone. Kecleon said nothing, as he was quite used to such arguments. In fact; he was more irritated that this pokemon had interfered. "Who are you, anyway?"

  Cyndaquil let out a sigh, he had hoped that he would not get involved and would be able to walk away to find the pokémon that had sent the letter. He made his way into the store and introduced himself.

 

 "I'm Cyndaquil. Was looking around for an Oddish that had sent a letter out when I overheard your argument. I don't want to get involved, atleast I was trying not to...but now I think that is now out of the question." He said with a slight depressed tone. He looked behind him to the outside area, "If you know of this Oddish, can you give me the whereabouts they would be? Do this and I'll be out of your way."

Chimecho rolled her eyes and hovered (For lack of a better word) away. "Ugh. Chimecho!" Pansage called out to the other, and scampered after her. Bagon was now very angry. "It's not wise to make enemies, you know." He said, before chasing after the other two.

"NICE, the more adventurers the merrier," Eevee said happily. "I bet we find tons more pokemon if we start looking around instead of sitting around here, let's go Oddish, you too Porygon," he told them before jetting off in a random direction yelling, "RADICALLLLLL!"

"Ohmigosh! Yes, that was me!" Oddish replied, happily bouncing around again. "And this is Paradise!" Oddish added, proudly looked over the terrain.

Porygon looked around once more. "Is this what is known as a joke?" Porygon asked in his usual robotic tone. "Clearly you are unaware of the definition of paradise. This is nothing but a wasteland." he said rather bluntly to Oddish.

 

 

"NICE, the more adventurers the merrier," Eevee said happily. "I bet we find tons more pokemon if we start looking around instead of sitting around here, let's go Oddish, you too Porygon," he told them before jetting off in a random direction yelling, "RADICALLLLLL!"

"Humph, he is clearly reckless and illogical. It almost makes me wonder how he hasn't gotten himself killed." Porygon said in response to Eevee. If these were the Pokemon he would have to work with then Porygon would consider leaving immediately.

"Well. That isn't very nice." Oddish said, stopping for another second, before bouncing up again in her usual perky expression. "This is going to become the perfect paradise for all pokemon. Me and Absol haven't even been here for too long."

 

Absol perked up slightly after hearing his name, and looked over to the other pokemon.

 

 

"NICE, the more adventurers the merrier," Eevee said happily. "I bet we find tons more pokemon if we start looking around instead of sitting around here, let's go Oddish, you too Porygon," he told them before jetting off in a random direction yelling, "RADICALLLLLL!"

"I asked them to come to Paradise!  They should come here." ​Oddish called back out, starting to get frustrated by the conflicting opinions

"AWESOME, RIOLU! You're going to be epic when you evolve, I don't suppose you're here for the radical adventure?" Eevee asked the Riolu curiously.

Assumably, this desert-esk area was what Kecleon had described, and if Oddish were here, it was also probably Paradise.

 Cyndaquil watched as Riolu left towards where Kecleon had pointed where Oddish may be at. 

 

 He turned back to face Kecleon, "Thanks..." Cyndaquil said as he started to walk off. He didn't bother to follow Riolu, he would get there when he got there. Plus, this was a new place to him, why not take in what "scenery" there was in Paradise.

 

 He had been focusing on the area around him when he heard some pokémon yelling. He looked and saw Riolu on the ground and an Eevee next to him holding his head.

 

 "*sigh* If he's part of the group...this will be interesting..." Cyndaquil said to himself as he made his way over the wreckage. "What's going on here?" He said to the group.

"Well. That isn't very nice." Oddish said, stopping for another second, before bouncing up again in her usual perky expression. "This is going to become the perfect paradise for all pokemon. Me and Absol haven't even been here for too long." Absol perked up slightly after hearing his name, and looked over to the other pokemon.

"So you say." Porygon said to Oddish. This Pokemon was unusually perky which was quite a rare sight nowadays, it was almost refreshing even if Oddish was a bit annoying. "Tell me, how exactly do you plan to accomplish such an illogical feat?" Porygon asked.

*Riolu felt something hard slam into his back sending him flying a ways but he regained his footing he was standing on his his paws he flipped onto his feet to see the same eevee that he saw earlier* "Eevee you know thats not the proper way to introduce yourself to a pokemon i would suggest a more friendlier approach next time." Riolu said calmly. Riolu looked around at the crudely made shack "Ok if this is where that kecleon said i would find oddish and if this is paradise this certinly isnt no Eden" Riolu thought to himself
