I can't guarantee that I'll be as good as you, Dawn, but I'll do my best to play Dash and Fluttershy!

 

I read a few of the mangas of Yu-Gi-Oh back on high school… some really crazy shit went down before the card games!

 

Back on topic! I'll try to get my ideas up before Dawn leaves so I can get his opinion along with everyone else's. Read all three, and pick which one(s) you wanna do. Feel free to add your ideas, and we can work on bridging them together.

 

And on a somewhat unrelated note, I too, will be taking off on Monday, for about a week, but I'm more than certian I'll get a fews posts in. I'll just be a little slower than usual.

Here are my ideas for the sequel. I first came up with them a few months back, and have since tweaked them over the past couple of days. Keep in mind that all of these ideas have holes in them, and will need to be tied to everyone else's ideas. Read them all and decide which one you want and we can flesh that idea out from there!

 

Idea #1: Is to have Rainbow Dash come back to learn the simple yet expensive lesson of restitution. Princess Celestia or Luna could learn of Dash's misbehavior on Earth and end her back until she pays every last bit back..

 

Though Dash is back to being human, there's loads of silver lining! She'll be taken back in by Colette and her father, be able to keep her Skype show, make money off her Plushie line and YouTube channel, piss Hasbro off by setting the record straight about Equestria. This time around, however, she retain her wings.

 

Colette or Dennis can make request when they learn that Dash is coming back so that Dash won't “have as much an excuse to lose her damn mind so much,” as Colette would put it. This quickly proves to be a double edged sword however, as it'll make it easier to show off her tricks and boost her fame, but harder for Dash to go anywhere without getting mobbed by fans...

 

Where do the others come in, you ask? I can see Fluttershy coming back in order to get a degree in nursing. Cicada can come back to learn how to play the guitar, since I remember h mentioning it at one point. The other Ponies haven't really shown that much of a reason to come back, but I'm sure you all can come up with a reason! Like Dash, the Equestrians will retain more of their features. Earth Ponies will have more of their strength and endurance, Pinkie will still have her Pinkie sense, Rarity and Twilight will have their horns, as well as wings in the case of both the latter and Fluttershy.

 

Idea #2: Surprise, surprise... Have the Pony Finders go to Equestria! This idea has two variants:

 

Variant A is to have the Humans be turned into Ponies, as the Ponies were made Human when they went to Earth. This allows the humans to get a feel of what it's like to be a Pony,and see how Equestria really is like. This also gives Colette and Stephen a chance to fail at speaking and behaving like a Pony, as they are the least knowledgeable about Equestrians in general.

 

Variant B is to have the Humans remain Human. While you may object, please hear me out.

 

For one, Lyra, along with any other Human obsessed Pony will have undeniable proof that Humans exist, Rarity will have a few muses for a new line of clothing, to being able to weild objects with more dexterity than any other Equestrian.

 

This will also provide a chance for Colette to finally play her guitar more like I wanted her to in the current RP, since I can't see her doing so with hooves. I can't speak for your characters, so see what you can come up with for your character. We can also see if the magical land of Ponies has any physiological effect on said humans!

 

I'm not gonna lie, I wanna play 2B the most!

 

Idea #3: Goes back to the meteorite. It can somehow tear a portal between Equestria and Earth, slowly blending the two worlds together. Equestrian creatures can appear all around earth, human technology can turn up in Equestria, and whatnot.

 

This is by far the newest idea, and will need a lot more fleshing out!

Whichever scenario plays out, the Pony Finders can bring their laptops, cameras, or other reasonably sized electric device, and record their experience in Equestria, to show off to Brony and non Brony alike.

 

I also have the strange notion that the Humans could somehow have an internet connection, so they can upload or record in real time, but I REALLY need to work on that one!

 

I also can see the Pony Finding Party travelling all over Equus and doing this and that, in much the same way the Ponies did on Earth.

 

This will also a chance to bring in your Pony OCs, and we can see how they react to the humans.

 

So lemme know which idea you wanna play out. #1, #2a, #2b, or#3. We can also see of we can incorporate elements of two ideas together, then bridge them with your ideas!

Geez. I leave for a few hours and things explode again.

Currently transporting hay from one farm to another, so I may be a couple hours more yet, but after that I have nothing going on, so I may actually, finally be able to post.

 

As for the ideas, I've read them but I think I'll wait till I'm on a computer rather than a phone to post my responses to them.

 

My main inquiry involves whether or not there will be a conflict in the sequel like there is in this one. If so, depending on how events go in this one, I have a concept for a villain/anti-hero type character.

 

Also whether or not it's bad that the intro post I originally thought up involved a human Logan showing up in Everfree which ends up with him shooting a cockatrice. That'd be a helluva first impression for the other Equestrians, now wouldn't it?

 

Anyway, yeah. I'll post my opinions later.

Or hunted by madmen for her wings... brrrr... i don't even want to think of the countless people wanting to fly that shall sacrifice her in a ritual to Satan so they can fly... but nevertheless it makes for an interesting thing.

Yes indeed we can find points where the ponies might want to come back... like Applejack could learn more about the cultivation and growing of crops, pesticides, fertilizers, e.t.c. Rarity could learn about participate in some fashion shows and stuff knocking all the competition away, showing real style, being horrified at the nudity tendency they have or whatever. Twilight could very well be interested in combining magic and technology. I can already see her storming this world's libraries like a huge freaking nerd. 

 

Here's what could make things even more interesting. Read these two parts of "My Daughter Chrysalis" and you'll see. 

 

 

"Why was the portal out here?" My question has a hesitation halfway through it as I gape and gawk at the nothing that's now there. "What happened to it?"

"It closed because I commanded it to do so."

"Oh." I guess that makes sense.

"It was also out here in case something unwelcome decided to come through it."

"From my world?"

"That and there are things in between worlds that always seek a way into realms they do not belong." Her tone suggests the topic is something she takes very seriously. "There is a battalion on standby to observe what comes in and out of the portals here. Such places are scattered throughout Equestria, relics from her Golden Age." Luna paws at the ground with a hoof with a stern expression. "Most are useless and few unicorns have the ability to maintain one for overly long periods. Such magic is forbidden unless the need is great."

 

 

"We've known of your world for a long time. As a matter in fact, our time lines are converging and have been doing so for the past thousand years. As the centuries have come to pass, our worlds have unexpectedly converged, exchanging ideas without knowing it and even having famous ponies here a lot like famous humans from your world."

I stare at her, blinking like a dumb mute.

She's not paying attention to me, as her monologue comes with her looking upon her land with a distant stare as if recollecting old memories. "Where do you think the human grasp of algebra comes from?"

My answer is more of a guess, "Uh, the Middle East?"

"No. Starswirl the Bearded first came across it some fourteen centuries ago. His notes ended up being transferred through one of his experimental spells. Dimensional jumping, in the broadest of terms. Your scholars from that region found it and their curiosity and desire to learn did the rest." Luna chuckles. "He was trying out the magic my sister uses these days for sending and receiving letters through flame."

"So you've known about Earth?"

"Yes. You can't come to our world because your race has lost its touch with its magic."

Huh? "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly what I mean. Did I say something amiss?"

The princess laughs, seeing my confusion as I'm clearly not believing her. "I don't expect you to believe me. The last human sorcerer in your history was a man by the name of Merlin."

"The one from King Arthur?" I ask incredulously, mindful to maintain my grip on the chariot's rail.

She nods. "The very same."

"That's crazy!"

"Only because you only believe magic does not exist." She leans towards me slightly, arching a brow with an aside, "which begs me to ponder what you thought of Chrysalis and her learning of her magic, hmm?" Her eyes twinkle with merriment.

Okay, she got me on that. I get the feeling Luna and I are going to be butting heads a lot and I can't tell if that's going to be fun or a major pain in the ass. I think I should try and get her to like me first. So, for the remainder of the trip to the castle, I listen to her intently as she tells me the do's and don'ts expected of me during my stay, as well as a few more tidbits of Equestrian history and culture. I try to pick the proper time to present a question, which is frequently I might add, as some of the Equestrian customs require some clarification. For the most part, it strikes me as not really being all that different from the culture I grew up in.

 

 

We could say that since there was a spell to take someone to the human world that SOMEONE knew about this. Maybe they even planned to go to the human world and reveal themselves? In that case the ponies and changelings, and other races could act like ambassadors in this subject and help the converging of worlds.

Remember that Cicada is her highness' right hoof and she can't just be running off without a reason or without some replacement or whatever. Though i don't really mind.

7)I know that you plan a trial for QC and i am okay with that so long as it's done properly... like... no handcuffs on my Queen please she won't like that.

I'd prefer the humans to change to ponies, altho I thought of an alternative... what if the Finders who originally were actual MLP fans changed, and the non fans didn't? Also, they might not necessarily be ponies... what if some were changelings/zebras/griffons instead?

 

I also don't want alicorns save the canon ones. Sorry but it just makes for complications. I'm saying this from the position of actually having an alicorn OC, from my fanfic; however, I haven't imported him over here cuz I want him to stay in my fanfic. XD He's certainly not overpowered and even has a backstory, which I'm yet to write cuz of time restraints...

 

I also would love for the changelings to become Flutterponies and to use my villain Avarice.

I can kind of roll with whatever is choice is chosen, though I am leaning slightly more towards the humans getting transported to Equestria, so more so #2. Whether 2A or 2B, I haven't really decided.

 

Though Pripyat does raise an interesting concept: Pony fans turning into the ponies/other races, while those who weren't necessarily fans at the start (Stephen, Logan and Colette if I remember correctly) would stay human. Could bring about some interesting scenarios. Perhaps through some fancy fandoodling of magic they get the choice to take the form of an Equus native, or stay human as well?

 

Something kind of amusing that came to me earlier would be if Dash went back to our world with her wings. Obviously she'd still use them just as often as we use our legs if she had them. What I'm imagining involves her wandering into an airspace she shouldn't. To be more specific, airspace restricted by the United States Air Force. What entailed would most likely be a high speed chase/race of magical pony-turned-human verses the beauty that is an F-15 Eagle. Personally, despite the speeds she has been shown to reach in the show, I don't think Human!Dash could outrun the jet. I attribute her being able to withstand and reach her speeds as a result of the magic she has in Equestria. While she may have more of that in her second visit, I don't think she'd have enough to do so in our world. 

 

Once that ends and the whole legal negotiations are cleared up - because I highly doubt the US Military would leave her off the hook for trespassing, assuming she didn't comply with their requesting she leave which ensued in the chase, just because of her fanbase. Frankly, I doubt they'd give a damn. Problem with this is the only way it'd end peacefully and happily is for her to give up.

 

Or a whole other scenario would involve her somehow getting a sanctioned race against an F-15 or an F-22 (though the F-15's faster), or maybe even somehow getting to fly with the Blue Angels, or the Thunderbirds in a routine. After all, the Wonderbolts are based/inspired by the Blue Angels (I just have a favoritism towards the Thunderbirds because they're Air Force).

 

The only other suggestion/idea I have rolling around in my head requires me to post a few more times, so once I actually get around to that, I'll throw it up here at some point.

 

I can roll with whatever is chosen, as I previously stated.

 

 

This little bit is more concerning the reboot.

If we end up having OC ponies get warped here alongside the Mane 6, I'd be interested in using a Crystal Pony OC. Partially just because I wonder what incriminating mark they'd have (like the Unicorn's marking for their horn, and the Pegasus' marking for their wings), and partially just because I abso-freaking-lutely love Crystal Ponies. They are my personal brain child to come up with headcanon for periodically.

While it is up to the RPers who'll play them, those are very interesting ideas! Maybe the Ponies can take their interests back with them to Equestria…

 

Maybe Princes Twilight could act as emissary on behalf of Princess Celestia and Luna… Or since it's the Pony Finders going to Equestria, they could could ne emissaries… Yeah, I need to work on that one a little more!

Unless a Unicorn intentionally cast a spell to hurt one of the humans, I see don't see any one them suffering any ill effects of magic… I have entertained the idea of the Humans earning Cutie Marks! Colette would FREAK.

I, too see Dash getting arrested by the military were she to return to Earth and decided to race a jet -- Probably the same day she comes back, which would be sad, yet hilarious at the same time.

 

But it would be interesting to see Dash perform stunts and tricks with the Blue Angels, but it looks like the humans are going to Equestria, so…

 

Both you and Pripyat raise an interesting point, and yes, you are correct in that Stephen, Logan, and Colette are the only three Non-Bronies-- so it'd probably be a good idea to give the Pony Finders that choice. Though that would most certainly guarantee they would get the majority of the attention, which is part of the reason I wanted the Pony Finders to remain human!

 

The fact Colette would only attract more attention. I gotta think of something that'll make poor Stephen stand out even more, as he won't look so much like a mirror of his twin… Logan carrying a gun is sure to attract attention!

 

And Pripyat, I got an evil idea at the mention of your OC. Colette would probally jump in front of him and do the Gangnam Style Dance whilst singing Q Lazarus' Goodbye Horses to to get him into thinking he's hallucinating! Colette would quickly learn the hard way that Ponies can easily outrun Humans, though!

 

Before I forget, yes, we gotta find some way to include Crystal Ponies and give them distinctive features in the reboot…

 

EDIT: We can definitely use your character Avarice in the sequel, Pripyat! Maybe she can be interested in the humans, and want to manipulate them like marionettes, since they'll have no magical sheilding… up to you!

It looks like the Pony Finders are gonna have a choice in whether or not they get to stay human or not. That way, the majority will be Ponified whilst the non-Bronies stay human, and be hounded by their decisions, as they wouldn't be able to go five feet without getting stared at!

What if there was a problem in the spell and they had to remain human or the transformation into a pony happened mid-way?

Like if they would work anyways... i guess a small binding ring on her horn to prevent her from casting magic would be fine but then she couldn't show people stuff with her magic. I mean... It's another thing chaining a human while arresting him and chaining an Equestrian's legs... the human equivalent is the chaining of prisoners in high-security prison facilities. We don't want to create the wrong impression. It's a trial afterall. Not an escort to prison (aka pre-determined decision). To be honest she'd have to be bound by wing, horn, hooves. And that would certainly not be pretty.
