She pauses for a moment thinking on what she was observing before the storm came out.

"Can such weather be manipulated by ponies or science? Do you know? I think... i don't know."

 "Good question, and yes, weather can be manipulated by ponies and science, for example, some pegasus can clear off the clouds and some unicorns can make them move with magic, and science, I've never been on Cloudsdale but there are some rumors that some clouds and rainbows are made there, now when the weather its wild like this, i don't think of any reason why would anyone want to make the weather like that, but it is possible if a big effort its put into it, which would require a lot of work."

"My name is Kyznetsov, I am from Canterlot and have been a Royal Guard since i was 18. I joined the E.E.T because i wanted more adventure in my life and i wasn't getting it with the occasional 'shop keep and customer' dispute. Though the ship crash may have been a little more adventure than i would have liked, not my first time almost drowning to death though, but that is a very different story."

Plague looked up at everypony as they introduced themselves, "They call me Plague Doctor, I was born in Appleloosa stayed there until the plague hit which is when I became the doctor there after the plague was gone so was I. I joined because I wanted to see new places that's really it. I'm just here to keep ponies healthy and if you do pass I will be your undertaker." Looking back down waiting until they hit land.

Gearbox looked between wheatley and selune. "I've visited cloudsdale before, i helped make some of there machines. But there's never enough pegasi to completely control the weather, and they wouldn't keep watch over the sea. Sometimes they just push hard weather into it."

Compass looked at Gearbox. "Oh, so they shove the hard to control weather into the ocean? Well, that's probably what caused this storm."

 

Compass used her magic to dry out her mane a little, as it was soaking wet. "I have some very nice pictures of Cloudsdale in my house. My friend named Bon Voyague took them for me."

She aproached silently the captain and passed near the captain and whispered to her.

"I need to talk to you as soon as we set shore in private... find some excuse and come with me, it is important."

"Well lets start rowing then, we don't want to be stranded on a boat in the night"

 

Wheatley picked up an oar and started rowing towards the north, the ocean was getting pretty calm, so it was easier to row with less force.

 

"Capitan, I think i see something in the distance"

Novella listened to the other ponies, not really wanting to introduce herself to them. She felt like she was going insane again and felt it best if she didn't talk. She heard hauntingly beautiful melodies in her head and started smiling and laughing uncontrollably for no reason.

As Gearbox looked ahead, he clicked something on the side of his goggles and a small glass came down over it. 

"We should reach there pretty fast, the currents on our side, we got 4 rowing...i'd say in about 20 minutes."

He clicked the button again, retracting the glass scope. He looked over at novella.

"You got a story too?"

Compass turned towards Wheatley. "Well, it's probably land. Unless it's a ship, a ship would be better, unless it was a pirate ship. Also, what's the matter with Novella? Has she gone crazy?"

 

She then proceeded to lean over to Selune and whispered "Okay. Just remember, there is a chance we might not make it to shore."

"Maybe she is just happy to be alive captain, it got pretty hairy back their, especially for me." Said Kyznetsov to the captain. He then took his brown jacket off and used it as a pillow on the side of the boat, after making sure he wasn't putting his head back on Novella's lap.

Plague sat there in silence listening to the others, "Need to get to shore as soon as possible these ponies make me want to swim there!" He thought to himself. Looking up he noticed a crow flying in circles, "We are near land..." He spoke out loud moving his head back down.

She looks a bit flustered and quickly stops laughing.

 

"I'm not crazy! At least I don't think I am.." She says puzzling over that problem.

She looks like she's listening to something and then stares blankly ahead.

 

"I feel like something bad is going to happen...BUT IM NOT CRAZY!" She repeats, hoping no one has actually read about her background as she was put in Insane Asylums twice, almost three times, in her life.

"So Novella if your not crazy why dont you tell us about yourself so we can get a better idea of why you like to drift off into space like this." Said Kyznetsov jokingly waving his hoof in front of Novella's face like she was a drunk who just walked out of a bar.

"Oh I'm just thinking about my books..." She says dreamily.

 

"I'm an author...I don't really have many friends....I like to keep to myself in my cottage in Ponyville...Whenever I go out I get made fun of most of the time...I like practicing magic...I've written a few books myself...This will be my second non-fiction book/essay which I will submit and get published in a proper science journal. Like I said, I don't get out much so sorry for all of my social taboos. I'll be pretty much useless in a survival situation such as this so logically speaking I would be the first to die. If someone needs to die, I'm volunteering now because I know I'm useless. There's my speech....So keep that in your mind for future reference." Novella said with little emotion.

"You know, thinking like that might be the reason other ponies think your strange. I for one think you are just as normal as any other pony here and would be proud to call you my friend should anypony ask. As for dieing im certain the Doc over there will make sure that dosent happen, less he be rendered useless and killed second, and i sure as hell wont let any harm come to anypony here if i can help it." Said Kyznetsov in some sort of heroic manor.

@@Kyznetsov, "Oh I'm not strange. I'm just another type of normal." She says with much feeling towards that one statement.

"Thank you though...For being my friend and all...." Novella says while blushing a bit.

"You can let harm come to me though. I can be like a punching bag and bait...." Novella says thinking about the worst outcome.

"No no no, we all have to stick together see. We cant let anyone get hurt, well exept for that rock that i broke with my head, im certain i have a concussion right now. ANYWAYS, if you think that your gonna get hurt out here well then you should get use to disappointment miss Novella." Said Kyznetsov.

"You've written books, you say?" Gearbox said, turning his head towards novella for a secound, before facing his head forward to row again.

"I've been writing a book as well, on my inventions and such...But i've never been good with words."

He turned his eyes on her, but his goggles hid most of his facial expressions, leaving his emotion a blank.

"You know what i mean?"

@@MyLittleCell," I do. Starting and ending a book is the hardest part." Novella agrees.

She starts to sway a bit, the haunting melodies in her head getting a bit stronger. She finishes rationing out the food and closes her eyes a bit, losing herself in the haunting melody again.

"Novella, get some sleep, you're probably getting dizzy or... well i dont know, I think it will make you feel better, also, when you wake up we might be in the shore already"

 

Wheatley felt like the boat wasn't moving at all, it probably was just that he was tired, he slowly closed his eyes and then quicky opened them again and notice that he was rowing.

Selune sat back and relaxed a little. She was exhausted through all the travelling. She had been kept going with a fraction of her energy.

"Oooh... i think my back is gonna kill me." she says stretching a little stumbling but picking herself up.

"Guys... i feel so tired. If you need me you better give me something to keep me awake, otherwise with your perimission... i'm exhausted." she rubs her head and eyes.

"Do we have any spicy pepper seeds? They always keep me awake when i need to study or work."
