Is Nightfall an alicorn or a unicorn in this one? Thus far, I've just had Cascade not notice any wings, because I'm not sure if there are any there. 

He is an Alicorn...but for das Pegasus ponies (Except Cascade) Wings are going to be rather useless...kinda...not really...but meh.

So as I said before, I didn't do the best job of sticking with Frostbite's personality, but sticking to that may be a problem...you see, she's not the sociable kind, as you can tell. If she's spoken to, she'll speak back, but if she doesn't have to talk to anyone, she wont. So basically, i'm rarely going to talk to others first, unless the situation calls for it, but i'll leave it pretty open pretty much all the time if you want to talk to her for any reason.

I can try to talk to her more often. Steely and Giant are getting along to well, Frosty's just the pony he needs to fight with.

True but this Cookie was meant to be a one-off character for my post. I just felt adding a bit of his prospector lexicon serve a humorous contrast to the otherwise tense scene. It wouldn't have been as fun if it was a mare, begging for her life.

 

Man, I am really off my game! It's like NONE of the intention behind my writing is coming through. I mean, I'm no master, but I'm not usually this terrible!

Since Flame may be a little late, ill go ahead and answer this.

 

So far, we already surfaced in the cave after going down that ravine or whatnot. When all of us got there, we piled out of the pods and a few started to work on the Machines needed to get to Atlantis.

I don't know where Steel Accord and Ocean is. I'm thinking in front of the pod most of us were in.

Giant is building a Robot in the center of all.

Moon Wave and Paradox are at one end of the cave. Its the end that is facing the right of the pod.

Wouldn't it be a twist if Fancypants was the one to fund this expedition? I mean, he may not be as "quirky" as Mr. Whitmoore, but if his interactions with Rarity are any indication he's more than willing to support ventures that others would laugh off.

 

I apologize if I'm doing anything to slow the adventure down. It just seems like everypony's trying to tell their story instead of letting the adventure happen. Looking at the unicorn egging Iron Hoof on in particular. Really I know most called bronies trolls but I didn't have evidence to support that until now.

I will be moving forward when everyone gets into the Cave and stuff...in the meantime talking about your characters stories is recommended...it makes things more interesting while we wait.

I NEVER saw this coming with my character. Goin' along, bein' guy, then all of a sudden, BLAM, he's the anti-hero! That's...I don't I could have wrote that on my own. Tha's crazy. It only comes about because of Ocean's particular curse. Da's crazy.

I mean, I was pretty sure he and Steel would fall out sooner or later for some reason, but Celestia, it was soon, and it was big. Steel's player was walking him into that too, though, havin' a crush on Ocean and all.

Character flaw we share. (Like a lot of things, he IS me, after all.) Ladies in apparent distress always get me in a, perhaps misplaced, mood of protection. Don Quixote immediately comes to mind, as I see much of myself in him. I didn't mean to pigeon hole you and I'd like to think we could reconcile. Knowing myself, I wouldn't WANT to be estranged to somepony like Giant. Once some one like that has earned my respect, it's very difficult for me to abandon my loyalty to them, often despite glaring flaws. Speaking from experience here.

 

Also, I know exactly what you mean! This is what makes role playing fun! You never know exactly what role you are gonna play. Unless your god modding, the character archetype you are may not gel cohesively with the other characters or setting. In other RP threads, I'm nothing out f the ordinary, but as you first pointed out, I am VERY abnormal in this case.
